Big news today in the world of celebrity.   Rosie O'Donnell and "The View" could not come to terms on a new contract -- so Rosie is out in June.  My guess is that she'll do her own talk show now (or try anyway).  She's been saying for awhile that she wasn't sure if she'd stay at "The View" more than a year.  

Do you think Rosie has enough fans out there to stand on her own?  And do you believe this was just a "contract" issue -- or something more?

Most people here don't seem to like her at all. I don't think she is funny. I don't watch the View.

I would guess it's really not a "contract" problem. I think Barbara has been second guessing her decision after the first day. I'm so glad to see her off the TV. I hope she doesn't do another talk show...she just takes up air time that could be put to better use. I don't know why or how people can like her, I haven't met anybody yet. I think the people that do like her...lie.

I couldn't possibly be happier to get her off of the air. I have worked with her when she came to Disney to do her show...ya know, back before she made her living on controversy, and she would barely even speak to us little people who PROVIDED her the stage to perform on. She even refused a hand shake from Mickey himself!! Its a happy day for television and I'll bet Barbara Walters is not only behind this but breathing a HUGE sigh of relief! Why she is able to get away with the things she says is unbelieveable to me. Did anyone see the comments she made at an awards show the other night?!! If any male from the broadcast industry from Willard Scott to Bill O'Rielly made those comments they would be treated just like Imus.

Well, I don't think shes Funny...But some of her veiws about things are intertesting to say the least...
I think there was more then just A contract issue...she has blabbed about how she will now keep her mouth shut about politcal issues while on the veiw...( that was on her own website)
However i DO NOT think we will see or hear the last of her... I think she will step in to the Political Field..

I bet the gays love her. I for one never liked her and never thought she was funny and to this day wondered how she got on TV. I think it was a contract issue. She probably wanted million$.

Never liked her, never will. We refuse to watch "The View" until she leaves. Why does "trash mouth" have to stay until June? She is a disgrace to the USA and our young people. We don't understand how she has gotten away with her mouth and controversial comments without being treated like Imus. Seems like there's a double standard here. She shouldn't be allowed back on TV anywhere. Good riddance!

Hated Rosie since she lied to (and ambushed) Tom Selleck.

Rosie has no morals, no class and very little intelligence.

I have no idea how she has gotten as far as she has, but if this is the death of her career, I'll celebrate.

As for Baa-Baa Wah-Wah... she's half as bad as Rosie... which means she isn't nearly half-good enough to stay on the air. Dump her too.

I DO NOT watch the view just because rosie was on it. I never have liked her and after she said what she did about 911 she totally crossed the line and needs to be rid of cause nobody should be able to say things like that.
