Is anyone else in favor of raising the speed limit on I-4 so we can get around town a lot faster?

I see people (probably BrandiWine) flying past me at like 85 or more miles per hour. To me, it would be a lot, I mean a lot safer if we were all going the same speed.

I just hate that if I want to go to Animal Kingdom to see the lions, I have to get there really early. It takes me like 45 minutes to get there from Sanford, so I have to get up at about 7:00.

Does anyone else think it can be raised?

Only oyu would be a jackazz to say something like that, I do the speedlimit you idiot.
Once in a blue moon when im in a real hurry will I actually speed, about 4 miles over the speed limit. Wow 4 miles over. aberdn3rd get a life, Just because yours is so pathetic dosent mean you need to try to wipe it off on others.

I have been reading these blogs for a week now before signing up. It seems that aberdn is a joke. Whats up your butt aberdn?
Just read his profile on here, dosent want to talk about why he was kicked out of the Army while in Iraq. Anotherwords, he didnt do his duty and serve like most of us do. He chicked out and made up excuses for wanting to leave, ohh whoa is me syndrom.
Its people like him that give chickens a bad name.
I served 44 years in the Marines tou chicken little twit of an excuse for a human being. If you were in my unit I would have taken you out and had the unit beat you senseless for being a chicken little.

there are way too many accidents around there as is with the speed people go thru Orlando.

I wasn't chicken, in fact, it had something to do with not being a chicken, but I don't want to get into it. Let's just say you wouldn't have been able to take me anywhere. And, there's nothing up my butt, that's just gross.

FLNative, Why can't we have a difference of opinion. It makes complete sense that if everyone is driving the same exact speed limit, no matter how high it is, there will be no accidents. It's people who go 4 over (BW) who cause all the wrecks.

Merging at the slow speeds are bad enough, just imagine faster speeds and trying to merge then?

4 over? Wow she must be going at half the speed most people travel on I-4 then. Im in a 65 and people pass me like I am standing still and I bet its another idiot like you thats doing it.

As for you leaving the Army and dont want to talk about it, means your a chicken and dont deserve to live in America with the true people who serve their country. They dont kick people out for not being a chicken. How stupid do you think these Fox veiwers are? We are not as dumb as you are ya chicken.

If you get the speed limit raised, let me know. I want to be there in person to watch the extra car crashes. Oh, oh, oh and the stupid idiots slamming into trees and brick walls.

Although I agree that the limits could be raised. It just doesn't seem to make sense in the big picture of things.

The problem is that PEOPLE in general cannot handle increased speeds. MAYBE NOT YOU, but 90% of the drivers on the roads are not capable of handling an out of control vehicle at even 45 mph.

So what happens at 70?

Good God, just use your imagination. More accidents for sure, and unfortunately more DEADLY ones too.

I think the real jerks are those who are gettin down so hard on the veteran. I came back from 'Nam with a bruised nerve in my arm - left me paralyzed for a couple of months, but I recovered fully.

I see BrandiWine and FLNative being just judgmentl and mean, dispite the apparent provocation. They are the ones who really need to "get a life."

And no, higher speed limits would not be a good idea IMHO.

In Europe, people have the results of driver training proficiency evaluations which allow them to drive faster, legally. But, most folks in the USA don't have a clue as to how they should actually handle a vehicle. They just turn the key and floor it.

If you object to that statement, just shut up and get real.

Maybe some time in my blog I will talk about it. It was a medical issue. I write books now and would like to be on the news one day. My children's books are real life books about war and other world issues. I am a Democrat, but I love Bush, because he was my Commander in Chief and I liked being in the Army.
