on earth I would put in nearly 100 hours training in the noon time heat ... and compete in an event in 20 pounds of gear when most folks are hard pressed to do it in fitness clothing .. Well, this about sums it up ...
That finish must have been the most motivating moment I've seen. I sure wish I could have been there to cheer you on!
You make us all so proud and no one does it like you do!
Semper Fi, Dianne...take care.

OUTSTANDING job Dianne. You never cease to amaze my Marines and me. Thank you for your dedication and determination during the training and the race. You are the reason we continue to train and do the things we do. Charlie Company 1st Battalion, 1st Marine is gearing up for another deployment (the third for most of them) and whenever I see my company start lacking motivation, I kindly remind them about the people that have done great things for us and why we do what we do. Congrats again for your accomplishment, you are more than qualified to join us on our next deployment if you would like. Take care of yourself and I don't need to say this, but stay motivated, you are truly an inspiration to us all. Semper Fidelis, 1stSgt Mario Artalejo

A body transformation specialist by profession, supporting forward deployed Marines is fast becoming a second job. The purpose of this blog is to provide a side of the War and the brave Service Members risking their lives that is rarely seen in the media, which many do not realize exists and which others choose to ignore.
