The Sunshine state is known for its sun, sand and family friendly tourism. Now nudist spas are growing in Florida. What do you think of Florida becoming well known for nudist spas?

Post your comments and Cale and Shelly will read back some of your responses tonight on Fox 35 at Ten!

I have absolutely no problem with Florida being known as a haven for nudists. It's far better than being known for crime, hurricanes or bad drivers.

I have no problem with nudist spas as long as everyone walks around wearing blurs on their private parts like in your footage.

I'm not sure that I would like for Florida to be well-known, per say, for it's nudist spas but I don't have any objection to the spas being built and being able to accomodate the nudist population.

Why should we care? They are consenting adults. If they desire to attend a clothing optional resort who are we to judge? It's their perogitive. I say let them be.

We've visited both Caliente and Paradise Lakes a number of times, and they're wonderful naturalist resorts.

So long as these activities are regulated and contained, there is no reason government should prohibit acts that do not adversely affect the public, it is America afterall!

If you don't like naturist spas, don't go to them. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, then who wants to live in a sterile environment.

We've visited nudist clubs in Florida also and find they give a great vacation value for the dollar. We meet nice people...and we're all the same, from the bank president to the bus driver.

For more information, see the American Association for Nude Recreation's website at www.aanr.com

I think it's good because it's better than nudists being at public hotels that occupy many families.

I think it can be insulting to other people not everyone wants to see what someone else has just because you were born that way doesn't mean it should be taken to that extreme of showing it to where the rest of the public will be.

I say let them do what they want to do, if people feel the need to walk around with other nude people, let them do it. But you won't see me at any of them!

Florida is suppose to be a family oriented state not a state where people are exposed to unsuspecting nudist.

I see nothing wrong with having nudist clubs in Florida. There is obviously a demand for them since they seem to be so popular and it brings money into our economy. The clubs/spas seem to be tastful so I think they're fine to have in the area.

Most nudist spas are self-contained to where the display of nudism doesn't occur to anybody except those that are part of that commune. After living in Europe for several years while I was in the military, I think America needs to relax when it comes to nudity anyway. The Europeans embrace it as natural, and not taboo or 'sadistic' like so many people in the US. It's common to see full nudity on TV overseas, but we're so uptight about it we get irate over a brief flash during a Super Bowl show. If these nudist spas can help to show the 'doubters' that their communities won't suffer economically or socially, then maybe that's the first step to turning our countries harsh biases around.

Plus the clubs/spas are tastful so I don't know why anyone would mind. No one says you have to go to them, so if it bothers you, don't go to one. But allow others to enjoy them if they wish...It's simple :)

True nudism is a healthy and wholesome lifestyle. Many people have the wrong conception of what goes on at a nudist resort. Until you have tried it, you just have no idea how comfortable you are in your own body. There are rules to follow like sitting on your own towel, no cameras. Truly the cleanest people ever - outside showers everywhere.

It's a great healthy, lifestyle. I see nothing wrong with it at all. If you don't like it, don't participate.
It will also be great for Florda's economy.

What an innovative approach for a county to compete in the crowded vacation industry!! Pasco took the lead and the others will now just be copycats. Pasco deserves to capitalize on its originality on this one.
