Neighbors say they're tired of all the drama outside the Anthony home. Protestors are tired of waiting for an outcome in this case. And news crews are just plain tired from working many hours on this story. But what about you? Are you tired of hearing about this? Or does every detail of this story still interest you?

Casey Anthony will meet with her case worker today, regarding home confinement. She'll find out where she can go and not go. In the past, she's been able to make trips to her attorney's office and also go to church. While everything is monitored, where do you think Casey should be allowed to go while this case is under investigation?
An observation wheel 541 feet high is being planned for the Orlando area. It looks like a huge ferris wheel. Do you think it will succeed in Orlando with so much competition from the theme parks?
Four drugstore robberies have taken place in the last week. It has some customers shopping during the day, rather than very early in the morning or late at night. Would you change schedules or do something different when going to the drugstore in order to stay safe?

Firefighters had to transport more than 10,000 gallons of water to the scene. What do you think, should there be homes where there are no fire hydrants?

With the poor economy many won't go away on vacation. Instead they'll stay in town and take a staycation. So have any good ideas on a staycation? Local theme parks are obvious. What else do you plan to do?

Ok I know gas prices have been going up slowly, but this morning it really got me. Regular unleaded is at $3.79 and premium is $4.17 a gallon. I can only put premium in my car or else it stalls. $4.17!!!!!! Guess I'll be limiting my weekend travel. How about you? Doing anything to save a few bucks? Got any advice?

This morning my head's pounding. I'm covering a small brushfire. The smoke's not even heavy, but it's there and it's aggravating. My eyes keep watering. The Health Department has put out an air quality alert. So just wondering if anyone else is bothered by this brushfire smoke? What are you doing to deal with it if you're outside?

Amber Alert Hoax

News
An Amber Alert out of New Smyra Beach was cancelled, after officers discovered a teen played a hoax. The clerk at a Shell station called police, after the female teenager asked him too, saying she needed help. She made him believe she was being taken away against her will by three other people. It turns out a secure transport company was taking the teenager to a rehab facility, but weren't wearing any uniforms to identifiy themselves. So who should be responsible for all the time and effort that went into looking for this teenager? Her parents or the secure transport company that failed to put their employees in uniform?
Gator

Florida Fish and Wildlife officers are trying to trap a 10 foot gator in Windermere. As a rule, officers must destroy a gator that's more than 4 feet long if it's a nuisance. There are some wildlife and gator refuges that would take in a 10 foot gator to be an attraction. Do you think officers should have the option of turning a gator over to a refuge rather than killing it?
Senator Bill Nelson (D-Florida) told me today that he won't be any presidential candidate's running mate. He believes if Senator Clinton (D-NY) is the nominee, Senator Obama (D-IL) should be the running mate. And if Senator Obama is the nominee, Senator Clinton should be the running mate. When I asked if he wanted to be the running mate, he simply stated he wanted the party to win. What's your opinion? Do you think he made the right decision?

Rice Shortage Reality Check?
Apr 24, 2008 | 9:27 AM PST
Category:
News
It's no surprise that I love rice. As a Chinese American I grew up having it most every day as a kid. So hearing about a shortage concerns me. Granted I don't need to buy four 20 lbs bags, which would be the limit at some stores...but I wonder if other foods will be affected in the future. Is this a sign of more to come? What do you think?
