American Idol Auditions

After years of watching American Idol, it was a wonderful experience getting to cover a preview of the auditions. There were so many people registering to audition in Jacksonville. I wondered if out of the thousands there today, would a future American Idol be in this crowd? My favorite American Idol is Carrie Underwood. I think she carries herself with style. Who's your favorite American Idol and why?
Ever since the Trinity Broadcasting Network took over The Holy Land Experience the bible based theme park has more than doubled their attendance. We all know of Disney and Universal, but have you heard of The Holy Land Experience here in Central Florida? If so what do you think of it?
So I mentioned last week that I'm new to town. As a Chinese American I grew up eating some awesome Chinese food. Now I'm searching for an authentic Chinese restaurant and Asian grocery store. Can someone recommend a good place? Thanks!
It's been a little over a month since I started my gig at FOX 35. The work is great and my colleagues are awesome. Really positive and talented people.
But now that I'm settled, I'm ready to explore Central Florida during my free time. Can anyone recommend some things to do in the area? Restaurants, stores, tearooms, entertainment, etc? Also, what are your favorite places? Thanks! -Valerie Boey
