An observation wheel 541 feet high is being planned for the Orlando area. It looks like a huge ferris wheel. Do you think it will succeed in Orlando with so much competition from the theme parks?

More waste of money for no reason.
The ones overseas are not even making their maintenance costs. What would make ours different?

Ohhhh Mommy, I want to go all the way up and look at Kissimmiee swamps.lol

Who in their right mind would want to have that much less to pay anything to use it? What is there to see but swamps, homes, business, and trees?

541 feet?!?!!! Really?? That's a HUGE wheel!

I wouldn't mind it, then again I don't
live in Orlando either. If it creates
a few jobs and brings tourists in, why not?
If what swan says is right, $10.00???
That's a steal seeing how much theme parks
cost these days!

Some of us think FL is very beautiful
from the air besides, something that high
would give you a spectacular view of all
the other attractions around thus, promoting
them.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'd rather EVERY ONE of these OVERPRICED EYESORES folks call attractions would BLOW AWAY and NEVER RETURN in the next Hurricane through here!

Florida, Orlando in particular USED to be very beautiful before all the damn developers destroyed wetlands, wooded areas, lakes that WERE PUBLIC ACCESS for everyone and now UNACCESSIBLE because they built a subdivision around it (VERY WRONG!), our Orange Groves, Farmlands, etc. that gave Orlando IT'S REAL CHARM, all of that has been destroyed due to over-developement.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH! I am sick and tired of seeing my hometown and my home state made into nothing but a tourist trap. Give me the PEACE and QUIET and the BEAUTY we had BEFORE that damn sorry butt-faced rat moved here in 1971 and screwed the entire area up and has done nothing but bring crime, riff-raff and over-development to a community that REALLY DID NOT WANT IT, but got **SUCKERED** into it!

Glad I never fell for all that tripe and hype.
