First Lady Laura Bush and daughter Jenna are in town today for a book signing. Their book called "Read All About It" is about a boy who becomes inspired to read.  Do you think this event is just to promote reading or is the timing politically motivated?

Both. When did the book come out? At least she will not be first lady to much longer since her hubby already did his term.

The Bush women in my opinion, are not involved in the political lime light, Jenna seems to be real focused on a career of her own and mom stands-by as a mom should.

Valerie,
what an idiotic post. Is that a requirement to work at FOX? To try to find something sinister in something that is potentially good?
What are you a democrat? Want to keep the downtrodden, down? Anytime there's something good out there, the media either tries to taint it, or they merely ignore. Anything that portrays evil, despair, gloom-n-doom, and you're (the media) all over it...

Give us a refreshing change once in awhile.

I didn't realize GW was running for reelection!!! Political?? What is there to gain??

Please...............we have a REAL First Lady (unlike the previous one) and you question her motives?

Politically Motivated??To WHAT end??

IF it IS politically motivated, and I DON'T think that it IS, it represents a failure to understand the public at large..Unlike SOME on this site,,MOST people understand that GWB isn't,,and CAN'T,, run again..

I beleive that this is NOTHING more then it appears to be..
