I'm not making this up.

According to a newspaper article I read - here's the deal.

Girlfriend returns home from a night at the bar. Boyfriend - who stayed home - wanted sex. Girlfriend shot bofriend down. Moments later - boyfriend went to another room, grabbed a gun and shot himself in the arm!

Boyfriend then stumbled into the kitchen and passed out! When boyfriend came to, he was in jail. Charged with threatening violence and firing a gun in an occupied building. Our rattled Romeo is being held on $100,000 bond.

What a moron!

Dude blasts himself with a gun because his girlfriend won't have sex!

You have no idea how many times my wife has turned me away in favor of watching Martha Stewart. Still, not once, did I ever think about shooting myself. I thought about shooting my wife - just kidding - but not myself.

Either this guy is loony tunes, or his girlfriend is an incredible lover!

Bring it.

My brother is right.

The middle class is being killed off. Think about it. Who is this financial crisis going to hurt most? Not the rich. Not the poor. The middle class, that's who.

We're becoming like Russia. A nation of princes and paupers. I don't think this is how capitalism is suppose to work, gang. How dare our leaders allow our nation to be raped by those greedy slobs on Wall Street.

Bring it.

For months now, I've been telling you that our country's in deep doo-doo. I said the Iraq war tab, high gas prices and unemployment and poor home sales were going to send  our country into a tailspin.

Some of you said called me a whiny liberal. Some of you said it would all work out. Some of you said our country was fine.ir saI was a whinning At

Well, guess what? I was right. Banks are closing its doors! Banks! Wall Street is a mess. And have you seen the unemployment rates lately?

Things are serious, people.

Forget your politics. I don't care if you're a democrat, republican or independent. This country's in trouble and our elected leaders better figure it out - fast.

Bring it.

A 14-year-old Polk County boy is waiting to cross a busy road with friends in Polk County. Cops say the boy is texting, isn't paying attention and walked into the path of a car. Smack! The car slams into the teen and he dies.

How sad.

But, you know what? I'm surprised these sort of deadly accidents don't happen more often. People are nuts with this texting stuff. They text at the movies. They text in public restrooms. I even see lots of folks texting and driving!

Enough already!

Here's some friendly advice. If you're walking across busy streets, driving a car or even operating farm machinery - do not text. It can be hazardous to your health.

Bring it. But please, don't text me!

We have the right to protest. It's protected under our constitution. And I support it.

But what's going on at Casey Anthony's parents' home is out of control. The signs. The name-calling. The shoving. It's a circus, and I fear it's only a matter of time before one of these protesters, maybe even one of Casey's family or friends, snaps and seriously hurts somebody.

I'm mad, too. And, like you, I want some answers. But this mob-like madness has to stop. I mean, come on, this isn't the Wild West, where we drag people out onto the streets and lynch 'em!

Pack up your lawn chairs, signs and hatred and go home. Let the justice system handle it. Sooner or later, we'll all know what happened to Caylee, and who's responsible.

Bring it.

That's right, my friends.

I have been invited to fill-in for talkmeister Bud Hedinger Thursday and Friday on WFLA-AM 540. The live shows run from 3 to 6 pm.

And, if you know anything about me, then you know I'll have plenty to say and, along the way, push a few buttons.

I urge you to catch the show and call in with your questions. If you do, don't forget to give me you're blogging name so I'll know who I'm talking with.

Peace.

I can't help but wonder if Obama screwed up by not giving the VP nod to Hillary. And beaten McCain to the punch and go after female voters.

And, if Obama would have picked Hillary, would McCain still have drafted a female? I don't think he would have.

Strategically speaking, I think Obama messed up.

Bring it.

I'm sure you've heard that news. That Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter is having a baby. Pregnant. Unmarried. And just 17 years old.

In case you don't follow politics, Sarah Palin is presidential candidate John McCain's VP pick.

So, I ask the question: Will this hurt the republican ticket?

I can't say it will hurt, but it sure won't help.  The democrats must be licking their chops.

Bring it.

The FOX 35 Dog House has plenty of room for more dirty dogs. If you have a candidate, there's an on-line form. Go to FOX 35 Investigates and click on Dog House.

Also, if you have't seen our first three Dog House stories, check them out and give me your feedback. I think you'll find them amusing. More importantly, these dirty dogs were outted.

Wow!

I still can't get over the vice presidential picks.

Obama takes Delaware Senator Joe Biden. McCain selects Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Biden couldn't be a safer pick, and, in the world of politics, Palin is a nobody. Is Alaska still a state!

It's obvious McCain wanted a woman VP, but the governor of Alaska!

Your thoughts.

I'm sure you're heard grumblings that the state wants to talk with Casey Anthony. Maybe even offer her a deal.

To me it sounds like prosecutors don't have enough evidence to charge her with murder, and now they're playing poker and hoping for some sort of confession.

If cops had the goods that Casey did indeed kill her daughter, she'd still be in jail charged with murder. Not at her parents' home.

All that set aside, should Casey be offered any sort of deal or immunity?

Bring it.

Leonard Padilla.

The California bounty hunter with a toothpick in his mouth and black cowboy hat on his head. The guy who bailed out Casey Anthony.

What's his deal?

My humble opinion? I say it's all about creating a buzz for his TV show. This guy wants to be a star, another Dog The Bounty Hunter, and he's using this case to help do it.

Why else did this guy put up 50-grand of his own cash to bail a total stranger out of jail?

Your thoughts?

Hello, everybody. Sorry I haven't been in touch. I was busy covering my first tropical storm. And, let me tell you, it was quite an experience. Fay was a real BLEEP!

The gusting winds, pounding waves and non-stop rains were impressive. It tops the ice storms and blizzards I covered when I worked in Michigan and Ohio.

But here's a few things that really caught my eye.

1-Surfers riding the waves near the Flagler Beach Pier during the peak of this storm. What nutbags! One young dude's board was busted in half when the waves rolled him into the pier. He used the board as a shield. Luckily, his neck didn't snap in half.

2-As I was doing live shots on Flagler Beach, I spotted two guys filling up sand bags! These morons actually had the guts to grab shovels and bags and steal sand from the beach! Over the past few years, millions of dollars have been spent to restore the eroded coastline. And here's two creeps filling up sand bags. They left before I could leave my live post.

3-The brut force of the winds and waves were also tough on the wildlife. One afternoon, I came across a family that rescued a bird from drowning. Apparently, the winds knocked this poor little creature right out of the sky. It looked like its wings snapped. The family scooped it out of the sea, wrapped it in a blanket and turned it over to a local woman who rescues injured birds and animals. You, my friends, are rock stars!

That's right, my friends.

Ready or not, Fay is huffing and puffing towards Central Florida, and according to experts, should rear her ugly head sometime tomorrow.

So, I ask. Are you ready? Do you even care? How will you spend your day with Fay?

Me? I'll be in the trenches with my colleagues reporting on this dame's wrath. It'll be the first time I've had the opportunity to wear my FOX 35-issued rain suit and baseball hat.

Bring it on, Fay. I'm ready!

A friend and colleague of mine recently got divorced. I'd say about seven months ago.

Before the ink was barely dried on his divorce decree, like a month or so, he got hot and heavy with the first woman he met.

It's not my place to blog about the status of this relationship. So I'm not going to.

But I need to ask.  Should there be some sort of grace period between old and new romance?

Personally? I say you shouldn't get into any serious relationship for at least a year following a divorce. And who would want to!

What say you?
