Fox is fair because it has opposing views at each story.. the left hate it and miscatagorize it because they get toasted with truth. CNN is Liberal with not one reporter of Conservative nature. Glenn Beck isnt a reporter and they are actually doing better is his hour than any others. Anderson cooper who is a good reporter slips in the Liberal tone often. Lou Dobbs, an GOP guy, went independent with the Bush Sqandering of the Whitehouse and inept action in alot except National Security. While a Moderate GOP person, I am amazed at another 8 years of doing nothing that continued from Clinton- Gore criminal neglect of National Security and nothing in Energy, Poverty, Working man protection (they con others).

NBC( MSNBC) is horrible. Olbermann is a clown who lies all night. He cant succeed at ESPN and his book sold 2500 copies and MSNBC is ranked 27th in ratings of all news shows.

I like CBS and ABC, even though you have to take their news with a grain of salt, I like their nightly news. Brian Ross of ABC, who I used to like, caved in on the 2000 election story of the Corruption of campaign practices of Gore using Felon money and questionable money raising from the Chinese and LA creep Bing through NJ Senator Toracelli (kicked out with baggage). After the DNC pressured Ross, he pulled the Videos showing back room money in violation of law. Tom Sussi would NEVER DO THAT.

Just looks at who is on the talking heads... MSNBC 1 in 4 are GOP, CNN same or worse as with the Election coverage with all Clinton, obama people telling us the versions.

TG did a very good job of listing the facts for the most part a strait down list from liberal to factual would be ...sorry I have to make two lists National : MSNBC , CNN , HLN, FNC (BBC world news would be listed 4 foot to the left of my screen!) as far as local it gets a lot less obvious because recently ABC and CBS have broken with “the pack” and are striving back to the middle after losing all credibility by becoming mirrors of NBC for the past few years and fallowing into its mad decent in pursuit of being a local reposting of extreme leftist views as presented by MSNBC (You have to love Tivo, for the past two years I had the ability to jump back and forth and what I found was that whatever MSNBC was saying is word for word what was on the “Old Three” NBC, CBS, ABC ) but like I said ABC broke with the pack and CBS has joined them ...but I would still rank all the local news stations as being to the left of center at best. The list for local news left to center NBC , CBS , ABC , Fox (with ABC and Fox being in a dead heat for for the center)

The days of any station being fair and balanced are long gone. All we are left with is a network or two that are a teeny tiny bit less liberal than the rest.

ONE simply CANNOT have this discussion without mentioning the Associated Press from which the rest of the Liberal Hacks pilfer MOST of their Stories....

WFTV is not to bad as far as local news goes but IF you asked for an exact at this moment “who is fairest” in Orlando...the prize would go to ABC , so far they are the one that is more likely to give a rebuttal to an accusation with an actual opposing view and they have been showing the actual presidential speeches without putting a democrat on before and after it to set it up and spin it down..but the main reason that I would put them a bit above Fox Orlando as far as national political news is that they have never used “we do local news more than national news” as an excuse for giving so much broadcast time to Democrats and so little to Republicans (did I get the quot close enough to exactly what you said to this criticism recently Fox ? )

Is Fox News "conversative"? I don't think so, since that's not a word in the English language. But it's definitely conservative. If it's "fair and balanced" and allows "opposing views" on each story, they must be doing it during commercial breaks, because its primarily positive focus on the GOP and softball approach to the Bush administration is definitely biased.

UNLIKE many in the LEFTIST camp like Chris Matthews and Dan Rather,,Limbaugh NEVER masqueraded himself,, or in ANY other way CLAIMED to be,,, a "News" person..And HE HAS and WOULD be the FIRST one to correct ANYONE as confused about the distinction between the two as Joe seems to be..

HE refers to Himself as a "Conservative Talk Show Host"..NOTHING More,,NOTHING Less....

Fox is the least liberal station we have but just like the rest Fox has liberal hacks working for them and I could start nameing names but am afraid it might hurt your feelings Tom....I know I would be highly offended if anybody said I was a liberal, but then again I would never give anyone a reason to call me a liberal.

You may not like this but I am watching less & less of the news on TV. I do watch 35 in the mornings for the local slant and because I like Heidi (such a MILF), Lauren & Jim. They have such good chemistry its fun to watch. Sometimes I will switch over to Fox News if something major is going on. I can say based on what little I have seen is Fox does not seem to spin as far right as it used to. I find myself getting more & more of my news fix from the web. Drudge Report & Huffington Post are 2 of my favorites.

Drudge and Huffington are both repubs. Maybe not your kind but...

That counts for nothing Jim I was a registered democrat until 06 ...After waiting 20 years for that party to actually do any of the things they say they are going to do I realized that it was never going to happen, and decided if I was always going to have to vote republican it was time I became one...and Joe your ideas about “what is fair and balanced” are way way out of whack ! If a station does not schmooze BOH/HC and express only opinions from the “left” and the “far left” as a counter point you consider them biased. ...
As far as Krazzy saying that Fox local is a bit to the left of center...I can say that they put the new (after 06) speaker of the house on air with her personal opinion more than President Bush or the old speaker...and I see way more of democrats giving their “view” on a subject than I do Republicans...and our Governor must be a mute because he is always show with a voice over from someone who opposes him !

nbc some times is prety fair the rest put their own opions in the news instead of reporting it

ABC..I used to enjoy very much but then I discovered CBS and thought that one was a bit too conservative THEN I CAME TO FLORI DUH AND FOUND FOX.........been watching eversince not only are the opinions sincere and honest the broadcast is clear, clean and funny at times and with this new 11 @ 11 added the zest for what's happening around to my liking

and when you work in a Cable company YOU COME TO FIND OUT THE ONLY REASON THEY INVENTED CABLE AND CNN is to keep all the ugly reporters on during the night......in the dark......lol.....
