Whether or not this is true..it is my opinion. Yes we had a surplus during the Clinton rein, but could it be, because the republicans paved the way to that surplus, and the Clintons were riding the coat-tails so to speak? And what "good" exactly did Clinton bring to the American people? I seem to recall being attacked..many times, and the disgrace of his under-the-desk antics. And how about that healthcare issue?

Perscription Drugs: While the program in place is not perfect, again... its better than sitting around and just talking about it for decades like Democrats have done. It takes a leader to "walk the walk" too. That also goes to national defense! The world now knows that when we say we are going to do something.. we do it, and if its not working out as planned, then a true leader takes the lumps, alters the course, and makes it better!

Far better cry than what Clinton ever did! At least the bad guys know we are NOT afraid to engage now, and blood spilled while tragic, we are NOT afraid! OBL called Clinton on his unwillingness to sacrafice and it emboldened them to attack more!

How many attacks happend while we gave all the terrorist their 4th ammendment rights? We have stopped at least 6 or 7 attempts since 9/11 (that we are allowed to know about) and no credit given! Instead we cry about it because Democrats don't like being shown where they were DEAD WRONG!

As to the war the SINGLE BIGGEST MISTAKE was Clinton refusing to engage for 8 years, and allowing the problem to fester! Again, liberals took Gen.Frank's banner of "Mission Accomplished" and put a spin to it. It was even explained by him, and then libs had to let it go else just look stupid. Just as they had to let go the WMD issue after the media was unable to silence all the evidence that was pouring in.

While some research does have sudden breakthroughs.. most are just one slow and small barrier at a time. The key always is to be able to reproduce your finding.

Just like politics, policy, and government processes, improvements are gradual most of the time.

For me its really this simple:

Bush took onboard a great many issues that leaders before him would never. Many would talk about issues, but never actually acted on them. Even the plans to remove Sadaam, and start a new government in Iraq were already drawn up, but Clinton never wanted to execute them. We talked forever about Social Security, and Energy, Bush had plans for both, Sen. Daschell blocked the Energy Policy bill for 5 years, Social Security (private accounts) is STILL blocked. Nancy Pelosi is holding back everything she knows would pass that she does not like and she too like Harry Reid will be dumped out on her head soon enough.

But, Bush took on she HUGE issues, and in the process had to upset a few apple carts for the long term benefits. Democrats have obstructed him at every opportunity and are finding out now (Kerry for for example) that their constituants are not supporting them anymore.
(Chuck Hagel, Harry Reid, Olympia Snow, Warner, and lot of others are on the chopping block)

Sorry for running out on some good give and take. Had to fly to Atlanta. Why anyone would want to live here is beyond me. I am no fan of the dems in congress. They have done nothing and Pelosi & her crew deserve the boot. I would like the chance to invest some of my social security. Play it smart & the average citizen could reap huge returns. Just think, no more Grandpas having to bag groceries at Publix just to make ends meet. As for the zygotes, I am far from an expert on the subject. What I do know is that enough people that are in this field both here and abroad think there is enough promise to pursue it. What really makes me question the issue is the fact that for some reason its okay to use lines developed before 1991(?). Are these zygotes any less of a potential human than those of lines made later? And who is the end all be all authority on if life really begins at conception? I'm the first one to admit to not knowing the answer.

Bush Jr. has been an excellent president, for the large corporations, the wealthy, the Middle East oil countries and of course the oil corporations. Only American citizens have lost out.

This should be an easy one. Instead of the knit-picking defensive and offensive statements, simply ask the average American if they feel better off now than they did at the time that George II took office and ask them to give the reasons why.

Most polls seem to indicate a negative review for the terms of George II.
