MYSTERY 'BLOGGERS'...How do they post??

I was reading the morning posts and came upon one entitled "teachers" posted by Laurielynn911. While reading the various responses to her post I noticed a poster by the name TELLSITLIKEITIS had posted a rather nasty reply. I looked at the name twice and realized it was GRAY instead of the usual RED, so I clicked on the Icon only to be told by the system that it was not a valid ID. This really got me to thinking here. Who was this person and how were they able to post a response without having a valid ID or NAME?? I do remember seeing this same kind of thing at other times here but never really payed much attention to it, nor have I ever tried clicking on them, but I am sure I would have gotten the same reply had I.

So...is this just a glich in the system? Is it a security breech that hackers can and do use, or is it possible its our Web Master himself venting in what he thinks is position of non-accountability?? Of these possibilities only the first causes me no concern. If it is a security breech then JUST HOW SECURE IS THIS SITE?? If it is our Web Master then JUST HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THIS PERSON??

Interesting questions no doubt, I just wonder if this blog will make it to the main page or if it will be squashed and shuffled through as fast as possible? Either way it sure has gotten me to wondering just how SECURE and SAFE my posting really are on here??? Does it make you wonder as well??

The easiest way to do this is to be (or date) an intern at any Fox affiliate anywhere in the world, that is the only way to write and post without having to sign the “tos”......and that way you name stays black !

Well now, aren't you a fine one to criticize. Yes indeed tellsitlikeitis is a giant ass. However you like to criticize for a slip of the finger or a miss type. I guess you feel that you are perfect. Sounds to me like you yourself have some personal issues. Did you ever notice that every time you point a finger at another there are three more pointing back at you. And by the way, I am very literate and do have good grammar. My children are on the "A" honor roll because good grammar and education do begin at home, as do manners.

Correct, I can comment all I please as long as I don't start my own blog, which I have no intention doing. Seems like some like to have a "in your face" attitude, but hates it when someone "TELLSITLIKEITIS"! LMAO

Here's the answer: First, contrary to burnstorm's conspiracy theories, we do not have an army of interns blogging. Secondly, EVERYONE who blogs MUST register, which means they MUST agree to the TOS. That includes anchors, reporters and yes...the web producers.

When you post a blog topic, your screen name turns red. It's a link people can click on to see your past blogs. If you never start a topic, there's nothing to link to, hence it remains black. But you can still leave comments on other posts. If TELLSITLIKEITIS ever starts his/her own topic, then the name will turn red. Got it?

See? I just created a new username called "test" and responded to this blog with the word "test". Since I have not started a blog under "test" the name is black. Yes, after I registered, it was red, allowing ME to click on it. But in a post, no one else can because there is nothing to link to. So I hate to burst your bubble burn, but there was no one on the grassy nole either.

You should always address the subject not the person. Even responding to other bloggers is not good. When you make personal attacks on people you don't belong here. Fox needs to get tuff on this.
