A tractor trailer carrying supplies for Wendy's caught fire on I4 around 2L30pm this afternoon. it closed all 4 lanes on the eastbound side for about 3 hours. traffic on the main cooridor through Orlando was at a standstill most of the afternoon and into the night.

all lanes are open now. the last crews left here around 9pm. I saw what it did to traffic up near Lee Rd. but what did it do to interstate traffic all the way through town and on the side streets and detours? anyone get caught in it? or the aftermath?

BTW, that section of I4 will smell like burnt BBQ sauce for a while.
