another example tonight to buckle up your kids in a car seat.

the crash that killed 3 included a 9 month old boy who was thrown out of the car. he wasn't in a child safety seat.

by looking at what's left of the car, I'm not sure it would have saved his his life this time because it was so mangled, but it's a good reminder.

Are there pictures of the car? I thought I saw it on the news and it only looked like the front was really messed up but I really dont know what car I was supposed to be looking at. It really upsets me that he wasnt in a car seat. I work for DCF and it just hurts when I hear stuff like this.

Following the 5pm News I now know what crash you are talking about and that was a tragic waste of lives and whoever was driving needs to be put away for LIFE along with his conspirers!!!!

Even just going down the street on a side road. You never know when one of these losers will be there. Always buckle you and your children up no matter what.

Everyone I know buckles up and so do I and so does anyone who rides with me or their not riding! People may risk their own lives but never risk your childs life...a vehicle can be replaced, another human being or a child can not!!!

we always buckle up... everyone in my car. I am with di, if you dont buckle up you dont ride. I dont really think buckling up would have saved anyone from that accident.

Go to any "migrant" community and you will see babies, toddlers, and children unbuckled and sitting on the laps of the front seat passengers right in front of the airbags. Yeah, smart parenting.
Yesterday I saw 2 adults and 5 children get out of a single cab pick-up. Where is law enforcement when you need them?

I personally don't wear a seat belt, but my wife and kids do. I think kids under the age of 18 should be required to wear one. Once you hit 18, it should be your decision. I had a friend who always wore a seat belt, but it didn't save him when he was runned off the road and hit a tree. When it's your time to go, it's your time to go and seat belts won't help you. People riding motorcycles have the choice of using a helmet or not. People in automobiles should have the same choice. There's more protection in an automobile than there is on a motorcycle.

You can call the police with the liscense plate when you see kids in a car that are not buckled. Please do!
