Internet trolls, some information for you

To "troll" means to allure, to fish, to entice or to bait.   Internet trolls are people who fish for other people's confidence and, once found, exploit it.  

Trolls are various in nature and the type of damage they do ranges greatly, such as:
Cause irritation to others
Disrupt an email list or online group
Steal money
Obtain credit card details
Build false hopes
Abuse children   What is a troll? The term "troll" can mean a number of different things, but in essence, a troll is a person who aims to have 'pleasure' at your expense. There are two main types of trolls:
**people who have the psychological need to feel good by making others feel bad.   This is a sort of "psycho troll", whose deception involves deceiving themselves as well as others. Such people may use their real names on the internet, and they may not even realize that they are "trolling" because it is all subconscious.   **people who pretend to be someone that they are not - they create personae that you think are real, but they know is fictitious.  

There are four types of these trolls:  

Playtime Trolls: an individual plays a simple, short game. Such trolls are relatively easy to spot because their attack or provocation is fairly blatant, and the persona is fairly two-dimensional.  

 

Tactical Trolls: This is where the troller takes the game more seriously, creates a credible persona to gain confidence of others, and provokes strife in a subtle and invidious way.  

 

Strategic Trolls: A very serious form of game, involving the production of an overall strategy that can take months or years to develop. It can also involve a number of people acting together in order to invade a list.

 


Domination Trolls: This is where the trollers' strategy extends to the creation and running of apparently bona-fide mailing lists.

 


For all children and those who are just fed up with bullies, just turn them in!

Get over it and grow up, life goes on.
You forgot the most important troll, the troll dolls from the sixties and seventies. You know the naked ones with the long hair.

Sorry to disappoint you but no I was never bullied in school. I just dislike people who never grow up and show respect that should have been taught to them at an early age. It is kind of like an AA meeting for most, but before you can get help, you need to admit that you have a problem. Instead of providing any intelligible comment you degrade instead. Reading this must have hit a home run nerve with you in order for you to react as a typical bully by putting some one else down for your own personal gain. Thank you for proving my point even more.

AMEN STAND4... great posts. Usually the Cyber Bullies are little kids in school but it seems 'adults' are trying their hand at it. But it is funny one is an atheist, two are Satanists (for real) and the other 2 are just stuck on stupid. So like the middle school bully, you cant reason with creeps like this. You just shun them.

Eric, Sorry Charlie? It may be a little obvious you did not even read the very 1st line as you got the name completely wrong, as I am sure that was on purpose. And from the rest of your comment apparently you missed a great deal in school. Your comment is right along with the playtime troll. Figures. Thanks for proving my point yet once again.

Thanks Truthguys. Your comment reminds me of serial bullies, I think the ones you are describing may fall under that category. Over the years I have found that it's not the bullies from school that are doing most of the bullying, but it's actually from the quiet ones that have been hurt and bullied themselves in school. And instead of throwing out intelligent conversations or topics to think about, they are quick to discredit people or degrade them because they think they have control now that they are older. In case no one has figured it out yet, I am an advocate against bullying. I have a family member who has a slow learning disability and we recently moved to Gainesville to be near a certain clinic for them. When I take my family member out, I am taken back on how children are more respectful and understanding instead of adults. People are people and should all be treated with respect, it is not that hard. So I agree with you Truthguys, shun or ignore, it's the best thing to do. But if they cross the line, turn them in!

If your so hypersensitive you have to cut/paste multiple blogs whining about people you really don't know and who you will never meet I think your problems go much deeper then getting your feelings hurt on a blog site. The real laugh here is you feel you need to rally the troops to further your cause. Take it from somebody who doesn't know you nor would ever want to (STOP EMBARRASSING YOUR SELF!) Robin, And if I have now made you cry I would recomend you call the blog police, I am sure this will be top priority and you will see me on Fox news in hand cuff goig to blogger prison. No one here is cutting and pasting multiple blogs - I have put together topics that are relevant to people like you. And your comment of stop embarrassing yourself with the name of Robin - if you are claiming I am this person then that is your ignorance. And there is no one crying unless of course you are professing you are a bully and a troll yourself. Which would make sense as you are trying to proclaim I am someone else to throw people off of the topic. If you read correctly you will see there are no troops backing anything - some comments agreeing to the topic - and some that are just showing the bullies and trolls for who they are. The only other person with the name Robin who has posted on my other blogs goes by YBSRobin so if you are talking about that particular user - they have issues of their own. Any blogger who fights back on a bully or troll eventually becomes one themselves and from what I have seen on a couple of their topics - well lets just say I was not too impressed with one or two and it fit well into some of the bully categories I am talking about and I must say, I must have hit a nerve with YBS as I noticed one of the blogs I was talking about is now gone. So hopefully more people that read these will follow - have a conscience and just grow up! So since your claim is incorrect do you want me to hand you the box of tissues now?

ZipIt you and Eric are running neck to neck for the internet troll - and cyber disgust awards. I see that because I am not who you think I am zip you have to degrade and harass some one else. You fit every single description mention in all of my topics. I am not nightmare either. You really have some aggression problems and I am surprised Fox allows you to state such harassing and slanderous comments. Since this is a comment that is clearly considered to be against TOS rules - let me share it with all others - just so they can see what type of harassment should not be tolerated and should be turned in.

You should apologize to the people you are harassing - TA - DAH! I am glad to see that some people are making changes to realize that everyone deserves respect and how odd that the interesting reading is now starting to disappear and in some blogs are all gone completely. Look whose true colors are showing now - trolls on the run and that's the way to keep it! Every one read carefully and know to get others involved in making sure everyone is treated with respect. It is one of our rights - don't let the ignorance of others take those rights away as well!

Trolls like you are not welcome. And the question you are asking is not directed to me so I suggest you go to that users page and ask them there. Why the paranoia of me being someone you think you know? Just because I signed on and posted comments makes you an expert? Have you ever thought that some may read through what is being listed on the community pages for all to see before one decides to finally sign on and make a comment of what is clearly seen? Obviously not as trolls and internet bullies don't use common sense while they make comments to belittle others for their own morbid satisfaction. Again what a great - classic - sample of a true serial bully. No one has to put up with behavior such as this. Bullies who are pointed out for all to see just can't stand the truth!

And to answer your other question, I am not a little black girl. I see you are clearly racist as well as a troll and cyber bully. I have grown children and grandchildren on the way. I stated what I did about the flooding and FEMA because clearly the truth is the truth. If people are not intelligent enough to buy flood insurance like everyone else then they should bare the responsibility of taking their own chances in loosing everything they have and not look to the government to bail them out because they don't want to shell out the extra bucks in insurance. That is their choice. What would be the use in any one buying insurance then? For someone to question that intelligence, I can only deduct that you ZipIt live off of the government and tax payer money as well. That would explain your lack of intelligence, therefore the cause of your role play as a troll and cyber bully. Thank you for proving my topic to be very true.
