Gov. Huckabee compared congress' reckless spending habits to Senator Edwards shopping in a beauty shop.......priceless!  Hopefully the UTUBE video will be out soon in case you missed it.  For now, this is my favorite!

That was great!! Tancredo's line about looking for Jack Bauer was cute too. I was also impressed that Tancredo was so candid on the global whining issue. He was a breath of fresh air. Hunter impresses me. I'm still kinda squeamish about voting for a Baptist. I guess that's my biggest problem with Hunter. Romney, McCain, Giuliani and a few others are not getting my vote based on their SOFT immigration stance. They just don't seem to get how incredibly over it we are.

LOL, yep that deserved honorable mention!

Rmom, as a conservative it pains me to say that I'll probably vote Rudy G given his stance and many of the other Republicans on Immigration. For me, it's the lesser of two evils: Hillary or Rudy + (security/taxes/Supreme Court) Of course, I'm holding out hope for Fred Thompson! I think the 2nd Tier guys could be possible VEEP's.

Did you see that Ted Olsen is one of Rudy G's campaign managers --- that's eye-opening.....

Definitely liked Huckabee's answer on FairTax!

I've noticed lots of FairTax support.

I think that Rudy is in this race like John Kerry was for the Democrats in the last presidential election. They are both the guy people are voting for, not because they like or agree with him, but, because they think he is electable. On the other hand, Howard Deen was more popular with most Democrats, but they voted on electability. This sounds like we will make their mistake this time. I won't vote for the amnesty people. If our leadership doesn't get it, we don't deserve the White House. If Rudy, McCain, Romney or Brownback get the nomination, I might vote for an independent. I am having a hard time trying to justify voting for anyone with an immigration stance less than Tancredo's. It doesn't have to be Tancredo, but, his immigration stance is the only one I will accept.

I wish I could mount a defense of my position RM , but you nailed it ! I am already convinced that we can't hope for a “stronger American” than Rudy to actually win. So I am already playing “End game” , and building a my opinion based on the simple fact that Rudy will be far Better for this country than Hillary ! .......prove me wrong , please prove me wrong !
We are going to have to come together as a group soon , the Clinton/Soros “machine” has been up and running for 8 years already it will not be easy to beat! And that is a “war” we dare not lose !

Well stated Burn,

It PAINS me that my choice is Rudy, but I'm "THERE" when I consider the alternative, (Hildabeast). R/M I really appreciate your principled stance, but I don't think we can risk the next 4-8 years based on principle.

As much as I don't care for much of the Republican field, at least most have Governorship-credentials.....

Take look at the Electoral map with a Rudy vs Shrillary, he keeps the red states and likely pulls NY to RED, (game over)...

Perhaps I'm "nuanced," but I'm seeing other Conservatives make the same calculation. Of course, I'm still holding out for Fred Thompson.

I think the 2nd Tier group is definite VP material, (I could live with Tancredo/Hunter/Huckabee).

I think McCain is too old (respectfully).
