  • My apologies if this has been posted before.  In the context of many of the blogs in this forum that lament what's happening in America, I could not articulate more eloqently the slow demise of our great nation.  Here's a Democrat I could support!

Yes it is all “old news” to me and Hawkeye and Arky and probably a few others , but to the vast majority of Americans (unfortunately) the “Recipe for Communism” is a total mystery. On the other hand I do have to give proper credit to the most prolific poster* on this board and state that he does know about Communism and supports it in every way! His “eggmen” to a lesser degree understand what they are supporting but still don't have clue about history as they dance to his “false” tune.

Sorry for “jumping you” on this one , the link was/is acting up . It worked fine then didn't work , so I pulled the whole article in and posted it! I like the simple way it summed things up, I will now go back and give you credit for it.

"Recipe for Communism"

WTF IS THAT?! Do you even know what Communism is? Or have you jsut heard Rush Limbaugh use the term a bunch. There has never been a Communist coutnry in the world. The closest we have had was the USSR which still was only a Socialist Republic. But I'll assume your ignorant to Marxism and its derivitive forms of government. Let's look at what Marx, Lenin, and every other major change from capitalistic to communistic forms of economy. In every instance the government took away the rights of its constituients and made the working class feel suppressed. In every case the Working class stormed the capitol and "took care of" the leadership then established the party. Lets look at the first such revolution in 1917, in Russia. It was the Marxists second revolt, the first occuring in 1905. They took the tyrant Czar Nicholas II and his entire family (so that no heir could challenge the new government like what happened in France following the French Revolution and the problems caused between the Royalists and the Imperialists). Then Lenin started the road to Communism, but then he died and Stalin took over, Stalin had been Lenin's bodyguard prior to the revolution, but he strong armed his way to the top. He then began the first of his 5 year plans. He involved the USSR in WWII, which was against Lenin's wishes (Lenin was a anti-war, Stalin was not), Stalin was a bloody dictator, but his reasoning was that the people needed someone to help guide them towards communism, because if left alone they would fall into anarchy. They thought a world where there was no

money at all, and completely free trade of all the earth's resources under one government would result in the ideal social state. And once that dream was realized the people would overthrow the party and rule themselves free from rules, etc. But the problem was that power corrupts. Lenin handled it. I think Trotsky would have too, but Stalin could not. He began a new branch of communism which called for an aggressive dictator, not a democratic politburo. Stalin's rival was the Leninist/Marxist Leon Trotsky, who was Lenin's chosen heir to his position. But Stalin had Trotsky exiled and eventually assassinated in Central America. Let's looka t China. After WWII the people of China were upset at how the government catered to the whims of European powers, the working class felt the government was not doing enought o help them and they recieved support from the Russians for a revolt, so that is what they did, and they pushed the Chinese government into exile on Taiwan, which before then was a island territory of China. Until Nixon and Kissinger, the US observed the ousted government in Taiwan as the Chinese government. Nixon was the first president to acknowledge Communist China. Lets look at Cuba. The people were upset with the current government, there were riots in the street, the US backed Castro who rose to power, overthrew all the prior government and established a socialist republic in Cuba. In every instance the working class people revolted against the government. I'm sorry but that is not happening in the US, Immigration and Iraq will not cause the working class to rev

revolt. Without the working class revolting there is no threat of even becoming a socialist republic which is the first step towards communism. Communism would require the State redistribute all lands equally amongst all people, it would require all possessions become communal, it would require that currency be done away with, it would require that state take over many more aspects of the upbringing of children, that would mean state boarding schools, etc. It would mean the absence of religion from thwe government, it would do away with the institution of marriage as we know it.
