It’s inevitable that lawsuits over the tragic deaths a VaTech are right around the corner.

Irrespective of the “should’ve & could’ve’s,” Virginia Tech. will be paying out millions to the victim’s families. Of course, no attorneys will be offering “pro bono” assistance – too much money to be had.....

How many days will pass before the first law suits are filed?

Addendum – This incident will bring to the forefront, the rights of the individual’s privacy versus the public’s safety.

I would definately sue the school if it were my child. The first shooting may not have been preventable, but the second one was.

with over a dozen cops at the first shooting the school couldve been blocked off and the dorms locked down the school is responsible for 30 deaths and many injuries. All because they THOUGHT it was a murder/sucide how sad all the victims, injuried and the families all on a thought. And im glad the Gov opened an investigation. Look at columbine they are sealing part of the file for 20 to 25 yrs to cover behinds. They had a search warrant for Eric Harris's house 1 yr prior. If they acted on that it wouldve saved 13 lives. We are held accountable for our actions they should be also!!
