Cable, Phone, Internet.... Wake up people

I have a cingular 8525 with the internet and the whole deal. I have to tell you, after having this phone for a few months I have cancelled my internet access.This access increased my cell phone bill by 50% and I came to reason that spending $50 for home internet, and $50 for cell internet was just rediculous.

Where does it all end, think about it?
$110 for Cable
$50 for Home Internet
$100-150 for cell phone (single - Family)
$50 for cell internet (at$t approximate)
$25-$80 for home phone

That is as much as $440 per month some families (mine) are paying for cable,phone, internet.

You could be driving a Porsche Boxter for that monthly payment. I started feeling like a sheep so I cut almost all of it out. Now I have Cable, and cell phone. And I reduced my monthly Expense to around $125 and still have home cable internet access. Hey, I can afford to spend $400 a month, why should I give my money to a company that I hate. (most people do Hate cable and phone companies because they rape you).

Finally, something we can agreed on....

I have all my services separate..I've thought about doing a package deal...they sound too good to be true...and lets not go there with the telemarkets.....how they can save you money instantly......YEAH....RIGHT.......

what they don't say ..is the small print..i've been bitten so many times in my younger years.......NOT......not any more not like before....
and I hate cable!!!!...in Jersey houses had antennas......so what about Florida..is it allowed to have an antenna.....??? that would actually get reception........LOL

Well I have the package deal, phone($39),cable($50), & internet($45) Bright house.

I had to give up my pohe company because they where bending me over by charging me $100 a month with long distance.

I truely have unlimited long distance calling in the USA. My internet is really fast. My cable rarely has an issue.. I love it.. :o)

I now pay 155.00 for everything thats including taxes.. ;o)

As for 440 a month for a porche? not in florida
Maybe for a minivan.. lol

Everything the phone comp charged me for as extras , Bright house gives included.

If your really wanting to cut back. I would suggest going back to air tv, get a dial-up internet service & get a prepaid cell phone and forget the long distance..

I would also say that you would have to spend some money to save money.

Get an efficient a/c unit, switch to all fouresent light bulbs, get energy miser appliances for a good start.

then start looking at what cell phone plane you have, do you really need that blackberry?
then do you really need that new truck? would a new/used truck that gets better mileage be more cost efficent?

We have no one to blame for the higher debt we get into. I lived in a mobile home for 9 yrs.
it wasnt pretty. I had basic everything and a 30 yr old car. But I had money, now I have two semi new cars, the house and all the extras and the debt that comes with it....;o(

1. My home is 2 years old, my ac is efficient. I didnt complain about my utility bill, I pay for what I use.

2. Yes you can drive a Boxter for $440 per month. I drive a 2005 Porsche Boxter and My payment is 421.64 per month.

3. DO i need my blackberry? Is that not the whole point of this blog you idiot? You must be one of those 95% that I am better than.

Last Porche I looked at just for fun the payments would have run me around $750+/month. S/D must have PUT one hell of a hefty down payment down and/or had extremely good credit to get that low a payment.

Give us a break SD. Even if Porsche came out with 0% financing, which they will NEVER do, $421.64 times 60 months means your Porsche Boxster cost 25k. Where exactly do you pick up Porsche's at 50% off?

60 a month for phone with internet
15 a month for home internet
no home phone
24 bucks a month for basic basic basic cable television

ever hear of putting CASH down on a car? How about a trade? And yes I do have good credit. Look we are getting off topic. I was simply stating that I pay tons of money for these things. It isnt just me, I know a lot of people who pay these outrageous amounts of money for this stuff. I just think it's crazy.

Not like I am making up these prices. My cell phone bill is almost $170 per month if I dont go over my minutes. At&t. 1400 min family plan with internet 2 phones and internet only on one. That is the price.

Why would I lie about my car payment?
