I was really surprised this morning to find so many people who didn't watch the debate. Many of them said there minds were made up and they didn't need Senator Biden or Governor Palin to solidify anything for them.  Others said they didn't believe either one of them anyway. Did you watch?

Yes, I did watch and read between the lines also while watching. Biden was stumbling. Palin was confident. Biden was getting angry while Palin was smiling all the while. She controled the discussion and even overshadowed the moderator who by the way is a B. Hussein Obama supported. Nothing like a little bias here, right?

Yes I watched it and those voters who don't bother that also stated they have already made their minds up as the given reason are the exact voters that place worry on making decisions that effects this country! They fail to do their homework...cop-outs!

The statement is always being said....the ones you voted in....well DAH! Look at the kind of voters we now have who doesn't care enough to search for truth and statistics! Followers only, not any kind of leadership within them!

Words are in the dictionary and are used in many different ways....but actions always speak louder then words because it places action over hear say!

If I promised I would pay your mortgage payment for one month if you voted my way....followers would be the ones to be sucked in easier! Promises are always broken and the facts remain the same!

Of course I watched. Politics for me is like football for many other Americans. This was at lease a playoff game if not a Superbowl.

It's a shame there's not a way to disable voter cards for those who don't at LEAST watch the Pres & VP debates.

yes, i watched Palin look better then i thought she would, but she did the typical republican thing and not answer any questions the right way. At least Biden answered the questions. Sarah couldn't get off the script the McCain people gave her. Plus she tried to play the "cute" factor too much. She seems to have came off as a ...well rhymes with what her church is chasing(Witch). I spoke with a few republicans i work with and they are all dissapointed in her and McCain. Is it just me, or are you tired of the word Maverick? I always think Top Gun when I hear that.

Palin, under loads of pressure to deliver, did just that. Delivered, big time. Biden was amusing. With a constant grin as Palin spoke, he seemed to fantasizing about what style of Victoria's Secret she had on underneath her suit.

At least Palin didn't babble in the debate,
even if she was forced to answer imaginary
questions when she had no reply for the real ones.
But she did MUCH better than with Katie Couric.

One thing that really bothers me about Palin, is
the way she talks down to the general public.
People who rarely or never drink alcohol may
find her "Joe 6 pack" analogy of the average
American, to be demeaning. I certainly do.

To have a VP who believes middle class people
spend their time at a bar or sucking down 6 packs
would be a problem. I do not want leaders who
think average Americans are a bunch of drunks.

Same for the way she leaves off the "G" at the
end of words in an attempt to sound common.
Now, I could be wrong... Maybe she is just poorly
educated, but since she majored in journalism,
I assume she knows better. A wink, gotcha, and
gol-ly does not equate to being a good VP.

Maybe not CynPro, but it doesn’t make her incapable either. Honestly, it’s just petty, immature, and ignorant to suggest that colloquialisms would (that you deceptively mis-categorize as “talking down”). And that goes for your many other similar comments we’ve all seen COUNTLESS times (often cut and pasted repeats to “make sure everyone sees them”, i.e. SPAM) that suggest she’s inept because of dialect, personality traits, colloquialisms, accents, pronunciations, physical appearance, your OWN ignorance (deliberate or not) not understanding what it would mean to be Governor of a State that close to Russia (hint: National Guard, Nuclear Subs off shore within range, Missile Silos, Airspace, Mil Bases nearby, Intelligence activities, etc. – do you think Alaska’s Guard isn’t on intense guard 24/7, esp. since Putin got in? This isn’t Key West facilities watching a few Russian-made missiles in Cuba; it’s Alaska watching RUSSIA – understand?), . . . what else . . . names of her kids?! You must have referenced the Katie Couric interview ABOUT WHAT MAGAZINES SHE READS – yeah, that matters! – a half-dozen times. I don’t blame her for avoiding that – it’s a set-up. Whatever the magazine, the Dems could & would find a MILLION reasons to slam her for it. GIVE US A BREAK ALREADY and write an intelligent, accurate, and RELEVANT criticism if you must criticize her incessantly. Your FLUFF is OLD.

Many may disdainfully criticize you around here the way you criticize Palin (& McCain), in petty ways and all because of politics . . . but I’m not one of them (can’t say you didn’

didn’t ask for it though). However, I have to agree with them that you have NO CREDIBILITY, and it’s your own fault. Your attempts to manipulate people’s views with such petty comments are insulting and will not influence Swing Voters the direction you hope. Unlike Blind Righties/Lefties, Swing Voters vote the relevant issues; not meaningless politically motivated disgusting Fluff.

What Palin DID demonstrate that suggests she WOULD be a good VP is a wide range of understanding regarding the important issues of our time – and without hesitation. In addition, she clearly, quickly, and with unwavering confidence demonstrated that she knows what must be done in order to solve our problems. Furthermore, and unlike Biden, she specifically listed the major goals/tasks that she would spearhead as VP – and all fitting. The fact that she has specific work and goals already laid-out indicates that she’s Ready to Go. Biden, on the other hand, just spoke in his typical politician’s cloud of generality, which suggests that he has no plans other than to just continue B.S.-ing his way through it, just as he does now and has ALWAYS done. He’s just along for the ride.

"To answer the question asked, yes I watched the debate. I have to admit I was afraid Palin would blow it.
I believe that her and her family have been slandered more than any other politician in the history of American politics. I believe that it was close, but the lies told by Biden,
disqualifies him on any true issues, and makes him irrelevant.

Shay Harris comes to sunny Florida years after her first family trip to Disney World, only to find a sprawling city that's still growing. Before arriving in Orlando, Shay spent almost three years in Memphis, Tennessee. Shay worked as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor while in the Bluff City. In Memphis, Shay got to experience every kind of story possible; she was one of the first reporters to cover the nationally publicized story of "The Pastor's Wife", a slaying in Selmer, TN that took the networks by storm for weeks. She also experienced, first hand, the devastation left by deadly twisters in Tennessee and Arkansas. What Shay really enjoyed digging her chops into were exclusive stories of intrigue like how dead people "voted" in major elections... and other stories of mischief in city, county, and state government, stories like, The Tennessee Waltz scandal, as well as the kidnapping of a teenaged girl who escaped from the house of her captor where police returned to find drugs & child pornography among other things. Shay spent two years in Chattanooga, TN as an Anchor and Producer of the news and talk show, "News for Women". She also made stops in Jackson, TN & Beaumont, TX. From time to time you may catch appearances of Shay guest starring on the nationally syndicated shows "The Parkers" and "The Steve Harvey Show". While living in Los Angeles, she spent a year as the Project Director for Los Angeles County's largest Homeless Facility, "People Assisting the Homeless", some of Shay's most rewarding work. Shay is a lover of inspirational & empowerment books, in fact she has some literary works in progress of her own. She enjoys opportunities to play in charity softball games for the Boys & Girls Club, reading to & mentoring young children, speaking at empowerment functions that benefit women, singing at civic & social events and doing whatever it takes to uplift the community in which she lives. Shay enjoys watching movies, going to sporting events, cooking and those few rare moments to relax at home.
