Got a question for you. What's going on where you live? Are there things that need to be in the spotlight (whether good or bad)? Sometimes our viewers think we wouldn't want to do stories on what's happening around them, when in reality we're interested. So tell me all about it!

I have told my story to Fox more times than I care to count. 1 in 8 Americans are affected but I am told time and time again that "it just isn't the time". I would love to tell it again or if I could speak directly to your boss that would be even better. I can be very pursuasive!

I have been doing some research into toxic mold in apartment buildings around Orlando Fl. It is found everywhere from the walls to air ducts. It's also extremely dangerous and can be potentially lethal. I really loved the whole idea of the story but I couldn't get any where with talking to anyone. Maybe you could take up this story. I know it would strike home because many people have bought condo's as well and are facing the same problem's. Could be a several show's actually, the problem, the cover up, the solution. Or just one really quick show. I know when everyone I mentioned it too has perked up and asked me more questions than I asked them.

We are over run by illegals and our GOVERNMENT does nopthing but kiss their backsides..I'm so over how everyone blames the other one and Nothing get done. I say deport them all and their illegal &astered childern or open HUNTING SEASON on them...They cause our Tax's to go up and our severices to go down..They are part of the reason our Schools don't have enought Money, they get FREE MEALS< EDUCATION< etc and ship all there money back to MEXICO...

SHAY-- DO AN HONEST STORY ABOUT how the ILLEGALS, bring us Crime, Drugs, Gangs and how they are rapping this Country... Do a story about how we can afford to give them 344 billion in benifts & handouts, but we can't take care of our own.. In a few more years they will take over this country, just like CANCER takes over a Body....

By the way Shay---Happy Mothers Day !!!!!

Rottweiler7575 if they did an honest story you would find that the ones participating in that behavior are the minority. It would make you sad and you would have nothing more to gripe about.

The main thing I think that illegals are affecting is that they are bringing down working wage jobs because company's are paying them low wages and by doing that bypassing working class men and women. These people end up either losing their jobs or agreeing to a wage far below the cost of living.

They need to go after the construction and manufacturers who participate in this behavior rather than go against immigrants.

In my opinion if you want to send back illegals from central America and Mexico you better be prepared to send the ones from the Europe and Asia home too.

Also it's funny how a country that got where it is by exploiting minority's is so upset because some would actually like to come here to be exploited! I guess racism isn't to hard to find in America, it's just well disguised under the flag of patriotism.

Nothing this week. Been here since 1997, nothing ever happens here. I'll be sure to clue you in as soon as something news worthy comes along. LOL

Shay Harris comes to sunny Florida years after her first family trip to Disney World, only to find a sprawling city that's still growing. Before arriving in Orlando, Shay spent almost three years in Memphis, Tennessee. Shay worked as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor while in the Bluff City. In Memphis, Shay got to experience every kind of story possible; she was one of the first reporters to cover the nationally publicized story of "The Pastor's Wife", a slaying in Selmer, TN that took the networks by storm for weeks. She also experienced, first hand, the devastation left by deadly twisters in Tennessee and Arkansas. What Shay really enjoyed digging her chops into were exclusive stories of intrigue like how dead people "voted" in major elections... and other stories of mischief in city, county, and state government, stories like, The Tennessee Waltz scandal, as well as the kidnapping of a teenaged girl who escaped from the house of her captor where police returned to find drugs & child pornography among other things. Shay spent two years in Chattanooga, TN as an Anchor and Producer of the news and talk show, "News for Women". She also made stops in Jackson, TN & Beaumont, TX. From time to time you may catch appearances of Shay guest starring on the nationally syndicated shows "The Parkers" and "The Steve Harvey Show". While living in Los Angeles, she spent a year as the Project Director for Los Angeles County's largest Homeless Facility, "People Assisting the Homeless", some of Shay's most rewarding work. Shay is a lover of inspirational & empowerment books, in fact she has some literary works in progress of her own. She enjoys opportunities to play in charity softball games for the Boys & Girls Club, reading to & mentoring young children, speaking at empowerment functions that benefit women, singing at civic & social events and doing whatever it takes to uplift the community in which she lives. Shay enjoys watching movies, going to sporting events, cooking and those few rare moments to relax at home.
