Bill Clinton was fantastic as usual. A great speech that highlighted the failures of the last eight years.
Floor passes are hard to come by if you're not a delegate. Walked by one of the ushers leading to the floor and overheard her telling her co-worker, "yeah, he was pretty mad, but he's just an ex-Governor." Ouch.
Chevy Chase just walked by our row. Guess he's got better connections than that ex-Governor!
John Kerry is speaking now and is giving one of the best speeches I've ever heard him give. Too many times we never see the best of a candidate until they're practically out of politics.

Unfortunately, the Florida primary was on the second day of the Convention, so we just got to Denver this afternoon. We had to take a cab to the Pepsi Center, but it couldn't get closer than 6 blocks away because of a massive anti-was protest.
It was definitely a sensory overload with the diversity of protests from the right and the left on the long walk to the Center. An incredible amount of riot police around, and it's the first time I've been somewhere where you can see snipers on almost every building. It's a little unnerving.
The convention seems to be very-well organized and it's running smoothly. Inside, we quickly find our delegation--it's great to have seats up front. We cannot be more than 100 feet from the podium.
Bill Clinton is going to speak any minute!!!
