All day long I have watched as Lohan has been plastered all over the news for her very EVENTFUL weekend. I was one of those kids that did not experiment in high school. I stayed out of trouble and was able to have fun without getting drunk or high.
It seem to me that FAME has cost this young girl so much.... I remember the fist time I saw her on TV and she looked so innocent. Now here she is with a DUI and going to REHAB again. I have seen so many other young girl goin down the same path. Look at Brittany Spears, here she is the mother of two children and out partying. Not being much of a mother at all. I just wish that these rising actresses could use there fame for good instead of out partying and getting into trouble. For all those actresses that choose not to party hard and get trashed or high every weekend, thanks, you are to Famous people I want my children looking up to!
I recently join this blogging community and I have been reading and catching up with all the earlier blogs. I have been rather supprised at all the narrow minded comment I have been reading. America is about free speech so they are allowed to write and feel as they do, I am just surprised. I was taught growing up to have faith in everyone man, women, black, white, short, tall, straight, gay, EVERYONE! I was taught to believe that I, myself as a women, could do anything I put my mind to.
The main blog that got me was the blog about Edward and how he got paid 55k to speak about POVERTY ! I mean are you kidding. First off let ask a man who spends $400 on a hair cut to talk to people about Poverty! You want to know about poverty ask someone suffering with poverty. Or ask people who work everyday as hard as they can to make ends meet and still struggle. Ask moms who have been left alone to take care of their children cause there babys father left them. Or A father left to take care of a child because the babys mother left. Or those Mothers whose husband went away at war (if you agree or disagree with the war) that will never come home and they are left to raise the children alone.
About moral values, Isn't Edwards wife stuggeling with cancer. I know that being president is probably a dream for him (and I believe everyone should reach for their dreams) But this women has stood behind him through everything in his political career. I think its time for him to put himself on the back burner and concentrate strickly on his wife and her getting better. Even if shes tells hims to continue. If it were me and my husband was sick I would be by his side 100% and NEVER leave his side. I hope I didnt offend anyone with any of this, Its not that I dont like Edwards... I just believe he is a little backwards on a few things. I mean their are two sides to every story.
