Wasting your breath Obama (again),  face it your trying to find a “cause” that will get you where your policy never will. To bad the “housing crisis” is as big a myth as “global warming” (posibly even bigger) and even if you convince ALL the people who are facing foreclosure that you are going to bail them out you still have two problems 1 the whole group does not add up to half of one percent of the votes you need to win and 2 fact is most of the illegal immigrants / convicted felons and other assorted scum bags who are in this group can't vote any way !

So as most of you know Obama the “phenomenon” is a media spun event developed on his first two books and spun way out of control (shoved down our throats by a media gone mad) . What you may not know is that Obama has made audio CD's of both his books and placed them (with the help of boat loads of money from the DNC) in every market they can ...but before you rush out to buy a copy and listen to Obama reading the entire book to you word for word check this out . The general release of “the audacity of hope” was delayed (after the release LOL) so that can be reedited ! Thats right now that Obama is in a national race for the white house he is not happy with his proud and allegedly true telling of his own life story . Gone are some of his statements of love for Islam over the rest of the world , gone are his statements about Americas “crimes” in north Africa , gone are the points where he quoted his preacher word for word in inditing THIS country for its actions in the world...we can't let this man rewrite his history! We must fight to keep him from hiding who and what he REALY IS.

No “flag” for Obama !

So first he refused to put the flag pin on his chest (only later to put it on any way when he realized it was costing him votes) and now he has unveiled the new paint job on his campaign jet complete with the removal of the the flag of this country from its tail , it has been replaced by his personal campaign symbol . Story link here: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pa

So what do you think ? Is this guy “to good” for the flag ? Is this another of his “changes” ? Or is his ego just that BIG ?

So we are talking about Reverend Jacksons comments (because the media wants us to talk about it) but why are we not talking about the Obama “plan” that has him so mad ? Is it because this idea has been so universally hated by Democrats on such a historic scale , or is more the fact that this plan is a direct attack on churches ?

So here we go again an oil billionaire is advocating a “plan” to end our dependency on foreign oil, go to www.pickensplan.com ...he is pushing for “Wind power” and even has a nice wind map on his cite to show us how much power is available....LOL

OK so here is the thing , he fails to point out any of the important facts about Wind power (and for good reason) Fact 1 “wind power” is useless in most of America because wind comes in two categories in most places non existent (no power) and so strong that it destroys wind generators...potential for wind power generation in Florida is “0” ! Fact 2 Wind power can only replace our dependency on coal (look at the graph on his own cite!) its a dead end and a distraction from our oil consumption ! And * is that not very convenient for an oil tycoon ? Pushing an idea that will not affect his pocket ! LOL

One more thing he mentions natural gas , I can say that we do have tremendous amounts of natural gas in this country BUT he is opposed to any and all drilling in this country and fails to point out that you must drill for NG ...he “talks a good game” put sticks the knife in when you are not looking !

You all failed to embrace Ethanol/solar/wind/atomic/NG power plans when they where proposed by an Oil man (President Bush) why would anyone respond to a narrower outlook from yet another oil man? ...

Solar power -V- Ethanol from “corn starch” the largest solar power plant in America Nevada Solar One produces 65 KW* of power per day that is 2336 KW per year (sort of LOL) and covers 300 acres of land (for the collector only , the entire facility covers/uses 400 acres ) .

On the other hand a single acer of corn produces 8700 KW of power per acer per crop (most places in America have two crops per year and Florida is able to produce as many as 4 crops per year) so in the poorest area of America a place the size of Nevada solar one produces 3480,000 KW of portable usable power per year.

Add to this the fact that ethanol can be produced from farm waste instead of corn starch and it is obvious what direction we should be going in ! To bad our government is so heavily invested in oil profit that actually solving our “energy problems” is the very last thing they would ever do! So we will once again see nothing but billions of dollars wasted on solar power scams and add campaigns against ethanol.

* to add insult to injury Nevada solar one produces 14% of its power from natural gas and has not consistently produced 64 KW a day yet !

Today Iran has threatened to “use every toll at its disposal” to counter any attack (including self defense in their own country) by Israel including using “its” control over the Gulf Straights ...40% of all the world oil goes threw this region , so Iran has just threatened to cut the world off if it does not “tolerate” its invasion of Israel

So what response do you think we should make to this threat ? Perhaps Obama should take a moment and go and “talk” to them NOW ...I mean he is the “dictator whisperer” right ? He knows magic words that will bring peace instantly ...Hell IF (and only IF) he could disarm Iran before November I would vote for he ! LOL

It is called “Hanuman” , it is a Hindu god and Obama carries it in his pocket for good luck. Funny that no American Media has noticed this item because the eastern world has , in India and parts of the far east prayer meetings in support of Obama are now under way because he is considered a “believer” and a “lord” in the way of the Monkey god Hanuman. Funny that he would have a symbol of possibly the most violent Hindu God of them all (look him up in the Ramayana ) ...leave it to Obama to find the Malcolm X in a pacifist religion .

So what do you think about having a President that fallows the “path” of the monkey war god ? LOL

It will be interesting to see Obama supporters rationalize this one away by stating that he does not “believe” in this or that ...but as we have already seen him state that he did not pay attention to what was going on in his church for 20 some years we he is open to speculation about what (if anything) he does believe in.

In a post this week a definition of “liberal” was posted (with out a corresponding definition of Conservative). Not only did I find it misleading in the scope and scale of its definition I like most people found it did apply to myself but only because it (wrongly) described aspects of political view points that are not addressed in the words Liberal or Conservative.

This is a link to a very small quiz that explains a lot about the four corners of political opinion :

http://www.theadvocates.org/quizp/index.html

I have found that this test is pretty accurate and no mater how many times i take it (the questions change every so often) I am always a “centrist” leaning to Libertarian . This is true because I find that in a perfect world I would be a true hard core Libertarian , but I am willing to accept some level of government RE: Police and National defense...and not much els that the government is doing seems like a good idea to me !

For those of you who did not take the test this is what definitions are used for scoring :

Other Political Philosophies

Right (Conservative)

Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional
values." They oppose excessive government control of business,

while endorsing government action to defend morality and the

traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong

military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market

economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

Left (Liberal)

Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal

matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,

defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action

to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

Libertarian

Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and

economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one
that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose

government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate

diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

Statist (Big Government)
Statists want government to have a great deal of power over the

economy and individual behavior. They frequently doubt whether

economic liberty and individual freedom are practical options in

today's world. Statists tend to distrust the free market, support

high taxes and centralized planning of the economy, oppose

diverse lifestyles, and question the importance of civil liberties.

I think most of you will find that you are NOT liberal or conservative but lean farther to Libertarian and statist ...and most of our arguments stem not from a trued ideological difference that can be described as LIV-V-CON but is far more often my Libertarian fighting your liberal as it leans to statist ...etc.

By reading my power bill and adding the kilowatts of gas I burn my “non food related”* energy per day is 131.81 KW (kilowatts) per day...

For your calculation gas contains 39 KW of energy ,and a gallon of propane gas contains 26.3 KW .I was surprised to find that I am not an average gas user (my score is lower than most and almost equal to my electric consumption) for averaging my daily gas consumption I added all my gas purchases per month (two cars, 1 van , 1 large truck, 1 boat , 2 motor cycles, 1 yard tractor and one lawn mower the small yard appliances do not count as they add up to less than a gallon every 2 months together but are included in my total gas purchases) my actual gas purchases add up to 1.9 gallons a day , I do not use a lot of propane gas but my annual average is 1.5 gallons per day..

*Food energy , a single calorie of human food in the untied states cost 5 times more energy at consumption than it contains RE: 1 calorie of food is equal to 116 watts of energy but requires 580 watts of energy to grow/process/package/transport so by multiplying your daily calorie intake by the number 580 we get the number of “watts” per day we consume now divide that by 1000 and we have the KW of energy used per day to produce the food we consume my score is 870 KW per day

I know its shocking to think that the “world energy problem” is not parked in my front yard as much as it is on the plate in front of me ! But there are ways to reduce the amount of energy we use for eating every day 1 eat foods that are produced locally (avoid imported foods) 2 try to eat foods that have less processing and packaging 3 eat foods that have less fertilizer IE organic foods ...

I would be interested to see how much energy other users are consuming per day ....
