Today Iran has threatened to “use every toll at its disposal” to counter any attack (including self defense in their own country) by Israel including using “its” control over the Gulf Straights ...40% of all the world oil goes threw this region , so Iran has just threatened to cut the world off if it does not “tolerate” its invasion of Israel
So what response do you think we should make to this threat ? Perhaps Obama should take a moment and go and “talk” to them NOW ...I mean he is the “dictator whisperer” right ? He knows magic words that will bring peace instantly ...Hell IF (and only IF) he could disarm Iran before November I would vote for he ! LOL

Denver's City Council president is getting hammered with hate-filled messages in response to Tuesday's surprise performance of the "Black National Anthem" by a jazz singer during a city event.
Chanteuse Rene Marie had been invited by Mayor John Hickenlooper's office to sing the national anthem during his annual State of the City address.
Council President Michael Hancock, who is black, was the master of ceremonies. He introduced Marie, who sang what is known as the "Black National Anthem" instead.
Her performance evoked angry reactions among some of the estimated 700 people at the event.
Marie sang the first verse of James Weldon Johnson's Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing, also known as the "Black National Anthem," but adapted those lyrics to the tune of the The Star-Spangled Banner.
In a statement late Tuesday, Hickenlooper said: "I'm disappointed that this matter has been a distraction from the great work and significant accomplishments of our city employees over the past year and the many important initiatives on tap for the coming year."
Hickenlooper said in an interview that he spoke to Marie after the ceremony and that she apologized profusely for any problems she may have caused him.
The mayor also said that Marie told him she meant no disrespect.
"She blended the two songs together," Hickenlooper said. "She was trying to make an artistic expression of her love for the country. She did not intend to make a political statement or anything."
Marie said she had no regrets. She deliberately didn't tell anybody about her song choice "because I don't think it is necessary for an artist to ask permission to express themselves artistically," she said.
"I would not change a thing," Marie said.
So what do you think guys was this NOT a political statement as the singer says, is it OK to pretend to be singing a long held song of national strength an unity but once you have the stage instead push a secular separatist agenda ? ...Are we even talking about a song here or are we talking about the open determination of some blacks to drive us all further apart !

It is called “Hanuman” , it is a Hindu god and Obama carries it in his pocket for good luck. Funny that no American Media has noticed this item because the eastern world has , in India and parts of the far east prayer meetings in support of Obama are now under way because he is considered a “believer” and a “lord” in the way of the Monkey god Hanuman. Funny that he would have a symbol of possibly the most violent Hindu God of them all (look him up in the Ramayana ) ...leave it to Obama to find the Malcolm X in a pacifist religion .
So what do you think about having a President that fallows the “path” of the monkey war god ? LOL
It will be interesting to see Obama supporters rationalize this one away by stating that he does not “believe” in this or that ...but as we have already seen him state that he did not pay attention to what was going on in his church for 20 some years we he is open to speculation about what (if anything) he does believe in.

In a post this week a definition of “liberal” was posted (with out a corresponding definition of Conservative). Not only did I find it misleading in the scope and scale of its definition I like most people found it did apply to myself but only because it (wrongly) described aspects of political view points that are not addressed in the words Liberal or Conservative.
This is a link to a very small quiz that explains a lot about the four corners of political opinion :
http://www.theadvocates.org/quizp/index.html
I have found that this test is pretty accurate and no mater how many times i take it (the questions change every so often) I am always a “centrist” leaning to Libertarian . This is true because I find that in a perfect world I would be a true hard core Libertarian , but I am willing to accept some level of government RE: Police and National defense...and not much els that the government is doing seems like a good idea to me !
For those of you who did not take the test this is what definitions are used for scoring :
Other Political Philosophies
Right (Conservative)
Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently
support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional
values." They oppose excessive government control of business,
while endorsing government action to defend morality and the
traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong
military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market
economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.
Left (Liberal)
Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal
matters, but tend to support significant government control of the
economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation
of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,
defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action
to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.
Libertarian
Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and
economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one
that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.
Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose
government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate
diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.
Statist (Big Government)
Statists want government to have a great deal of power over the
economy and individual behavior. They frequently doubt whether
economic liberty and individual freedom are practical options in
today's world. Statists tend to distrust the free market, support
high taxes and centralized planning of the economy, oppose
diverse lifestyles, and question the importance of civil liberties.
I think most of you will find that you are NOT liberal or conservative but lean farther to Libertarian and statist ...and most of our arguments stem not from a trued ideological difference that can be described as LIV-V-CON but is far more often my Libertarian fighting your liberal as it leans to statist ...etc.

By reading my power bill and adding the kilowatts of gas I burn my “non food related”* energy per day is 131.81 KW (kilowatts) per day...
For your calculation gas contains 39 KW of energy ,and a gallon of propane gas contains 26.3 KW .I was surprised to find that I am not an average gas user (my score is lower than most and almost equal to my electric consumption) for averaging my daily gas consumption I added all my gas purchases per month (two cars, 1 van , 1 large truck, 1 boat , 2 motor cycles, 1 yard tractor and one lawn mower the small yard appliances do not count as they add up to less than a gallon every 2 months together but are included in my total gas purchases) my actual gas purchases add up to 1.9 gallons a day , I do not use a lot of propane gas but my annual average is 1.5 gallons per day..
*Food energy , a single calorie of human food in the untied states cost 5 times more energy at consumption than it contains RE: 1 calorie of food is equal to 116 watts of energy but requires 580 watts of energy to grow/process/package/transport so by multiplying your daily calorie intake by the number 580 we get the number of “watts” per day we consume now divide that by 1000 and we have the KW of energy used per day to produce the food we consume my score is 870 KW per day
I know its shocking to think that the “world energy problem” is not parked in my front yard as much as it is on the plate in front of me ! But there are ways to reduce the amount of energy we use for eating every day 1 eat foods that are produced locally (avoid imported foods) 2 try to eat foods that have less processing and packaging 3 eat foods that have less fertilizer IE organic foods ...
I would be interested to see how much energy other users are consuming per day ....

In yet another show of contempt for the American people this week Demonrats in the US senate voted to uphold a ban they have placed on developing regulations for shale oil production...with out the regulations production can not go forward. You can find information on this action at many places on the net but I like this link :

shale-hits-roadblock-in-senate/
because it shows politics at its finniest ...Sen Mary Landrie wanted to vote for lifting the nab but she voted the way that Sen Salazar asked her to ...because she would never dare do anything that the DNC does not approve of !

Solar power is the cleanest most environmentally “safe” power generating technology available today..Right ?
Not so fast , forget about PV (photo voltaic) power generation it has been proven to be a wasteful dead end (never can repay the cost of development and produces large amounts of pollution to build in the first place) so we are now “focusing” our attention and hundreds of billions of tax dollars on thermo solar power generation...this MUST be based on the successes (or failure!) of our pilot project Solar One in California (the name changed to Solar Two and then to Solar Tres before it was shut down) . That facility is now shut down having failed to ever meet any of its stated goals and is now a TOXIC waste land where nothing will ever grow again!... But you say how can that be ? Solar power is clean right ? Wrong ! Thermo Solar power plants are filled with altered synthetic petroleum oil and as we have learned in our “pilot project” they leak!! LOL Solar one is now on the National Super fund clean up list..
Now lets talk about the impact on the environment that a large solar power plant has. You already know that nothing will grow under a solar plant and soil erosion is a constant problem on site , but did you know that a solar power plant is devastating to bird populations ? A three years study at the Solar One facility found that bird mortality rates on site are .6 to .7% per week of the total local bird population ! That adds up to mother nature taking a hit of 1/3rd of the total population per year !
Just something to think about when you are asked to pay and additional 25 cents a gallon next year for gas to pay for a privately owned solar power plant that will 1 destroy 40 more acres of farm land 2 produce (at most) .0001% of our electric power needs and 3 forever change (kill) the ecosystem where it is built ! Way to go tree huggers.

So because it is the 1# problem facing this country our Presidential hopefuls have no choice but to develop an “Energy Plan” and show it to the voting public. Ironically both Obama and McCain have plans that on the surface seem very similar , with the glaring exception of the subject of Atomic energy and domestic drilling (a subject for another blog on its own!) . But on the subject of “alternative energy” they are close...or so it would appear but as they say the “devil” is in the details.
First : cellulose ethanol (this turns trash into gas!)
1 the McCain Plan : puts the “tax credit” on all new cellulose production in America and that is all.
2 the Obama Plan : keeps the “tax credit” and adds (40 billion dollars estimated) in federal assistance money for the start up of ethanol production...BUT ! It gives both the “assistance” and the tax credit to ONLY to small privet farms and co-ops (defined as having less than half a million in assets)
So why would I have a problem with Obama's idea? Simple his plan does not actually work! Under his strategy only companies to small to actually have any impact on the fuel market will get the tax break , so he is trying to exploit our suffering to create a new form of welfare without breaking the hold that oil has on this nation!
I know all the people reading this will fall into two categories 1 those who understand what I have just said and are mad at Obama for playing the same old games that government always plays and failing (by design) to address our problems and 2 those who will blindly fallow this idiot – puppet and even find a slanted way to support his foolish non commitment to our future.

Why is it that Obama is still refusing to go to any town hall meetings ? Why is he still dodging the few reporters who do not kiss his butt ? Are his ideas so weak that they can only be presented to friendly audiences and presented to interviewers who have been vetted ? Will he ever face a critic ?
Poll Question , Domestic Oil : 1 Drill NOW 2 Drill later 3 Drill never...
