Will the true terrorists return?

I was on the phone with one of my 15 (yes, I have 15) great uncles, and he told me the strangest thing. Don't vote for Obama. I blinked. This was the uncle who was proud I was a democrat, who was glad I was so political. When I asked him why, he heard rumors of a uprising in Tennessee from the true American Terrorists, the KKK. They're saying if Obama wins, they'll be attacking all the blacks and Jews (why the Jews, I'm unsure), which is unfair because we did nothing wrong. I've met black people who are for McCain.
Now many of my older relatives are begging every one of their children who live or go to school in the south (ex. my cousin who goes to college in Kentucky, my other cousin in Nashville, my parents of course who live here in Fl. and so on) to come back to D.C. where it's "safer", but if the KKK really do try to uprise, no place will be safe. I also heard that the KKK will rally across the country. I thought they were just rumors.
At least until those two men in in Tennessee were arrested. Yeah that kinda freaked me out. Now I'm hearing rumors that there are people who want to get rid of all the "non-white" people. These are the terrorists at home we should be getting rid of, but of course our government (democrats and republicans) alike are ignoring this threat. Yet they're expecting black people to riot if Obama loses the election (which he won't! : P) in places like D.C. and Detroit.
So my main question is this (and I want to hear everyone's opinion on this, I won't be deleting comments)
Why is it when white people threaten to riot or kill innocents, it's not taken as seriously as when even a tiny rumor of black people gathering is taken like a riot? I've heard the stories of random black people getting killed just for walking down the street or looking at a person the "wrong way"
Honestly why isn't someone really looking for these people? That's like those hate crimes in Texas when Bush was governor, very little was done to deter black on white and white on black violence. (guess which one is more common...I honestly don't know, but it's probably a bit even)
Actually there is a study, I (a black person) am more likely to be killed by another black person, than a white person...still it would be nice if people would take these kind of threats seriously.
Here's another message for those who care :)
Stand up, vote, don't allow those election officials to deter you with long lines! I've heard rumors that the number of black voters is rising. That's good, it's time our people started to care more. We as the American Race should care more about who we vote for, not just because they look good on paper or on TV.

It's almost here. Halloween the most fun time of the year. Candy, costumes, and of course, pranks. Like Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas says "Life's no fun without a good scare" The thing I'm afraid of? Well, I found this clip that shows them. The two mummy hags are the thing I fear. Just follow the link if you want to see my fear, it takes about 3 minutes to get to the part I'm talking about, but you'll see what I mean. Resident Evil 4's chainsaw hags! (If you have played this game, you know what I mean, the first time you play, you either jump, scream or cuss a few times)
Why do the chainsaw hags scare me? Well, the one without the apron looks like an aunt of mine who used to hug me until my back cracked mostly...shudder. Another note, I'm not all that fond of mummys either. So, what do you fear? Vampires, witches, things that go bump in the night? It's all in good fun, it's almost Halloween after all. All presidental jokes about Obama and McCain will be deleted as a fair warning.

Has anyone ever heard of Stevia?

I'm back to spread the word on the corruption of Republican and some Democratic politicians, did anyone miss me?
...Guess not...oh well. T-T
According to one of my professors, stevia is a sweetner that 7X sweeter than sugar and healthier? Is he right about this miracle plant or was he just getting my hopes up. And if he is right, why are we now using sweetners that have things like fermaldehyde and aspartame in it? Just curious
Aren't we all just hypocrites?

This will be my last blog for at least two weeks. I'm going back home to D.C. to settle some issues with my mother's brothers (something about my innocent cousin in jail needing a better lawyer), and the closest thing to a computer in my Grandmother's house is the VCR, so I'll leave with little nagging thought in the back of my mind.
Are we all just hypocrites in this society? Think about this.
People fight tooth and nail to have speeding laws enforced, but than when we go to buy a car, we won't buy it if it doesn't go over 100 MPH.
We allow stars and actors to walk around doing inappropriate things, but than are surprised when children start acting the same way.
Men use the cheesiest pick up lines in the history of the world and are angry when the girl laughs at him. What did they expect? A phone number? (I've done that before. Laughed outloud in his face. Sorry dude, but that was beyond cheesy)
Idiots get angry when you look at them like an idiot.
In high school you read the Declaration of Independence as you're told, but get into trouble when you point out the part about how good people overthrow a government that doesn't seem fit.
People will work hard on a farm so they can move into town where they can make more money so they can move back to the farm.
In the office people talk about baseball, shopping or fishing, but when they are out at the game, the mall or on the lake, they talk about business.
Americans are the only people in the world who will pay $.50 to park our car while eating a $.25 sandwhich.
This is a country that has more food to eat than any other country in the world and more diets to keep people from eating it.
People run from morning to night trying to keep their earning power up with their yearning power.
This country is supposed to be the most civilized Christian nation on earth, but still can't deliver payrolls without an armored car.
People yell for the Government to balance the budget, then take the last dime they have to make the down payment on a car.
This country whips the enemy in battle, then gives them the shirt off their backs.
Americans get scared to death if we vote a billion dollars for education, then are unconcerned when they find out they are spending three billion dollars a year for cigarettes.
We all know the line-up of every baseball team in the American and National Leagues but don't know half the words in the "Star Spangled Banner". (For me, it's vice versa I know very little about baseball)
People will spend half a day looking for vitamin pills to make them live longer, then drive 90 miles an hour on slick pavement to make up for lost time.
People will tie up their dog while letting their sixteen year old run wild.
This country has more experts on marriage than any other country in the world and still have more divorces.
Do I really need to go on and on?
Do you think we’re hypocrites, or does this list just mean I have way too much time on my hands. See/write ya in about two weeks.
Here's one more little thing
You encourage your children to ask questions, yet when they ask ones like this, you don't answer them directly.
August 28, 1963...does that ring any bells? (I wasn't even born yet and I remembered) I didn't even write a post about it because I thought someone would remember. Ler's see if someone does.
What is so important about August 28, 1963? Come on people, prove to me you know your history. Please...
Like it says, now that she is released, will she really help people search for her daughter? Will she even be able to help with that new ankle bracelet she has? Or will she continue to stay as silent as a mouse. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?
Will she actually help the bounty hunters and searchers, will she cooperate with the police or will this be one of those cases that will never be really solved, like the Ramsey girl in Colorado?
Your heart is supposed to bleed

"Bleeding hearts" this and "Bleeding heart liberals" that. Last time I checked, your heart is supposed to bleed, it pumps blood throughout your body supplying it with oxygen and other things that you sort of need to survive. If it doesn't, than more than likely you won't live very long and you won't be doing a lot.
Like your heart is supposed to bleed, you would think that most people would care about other people's suffering or injustice, but apparently not. If we keep separating ourselves saying just because we have different views on a subject, we can't get along. My friends in high school were pro-life, I was the only one in the group who was pro-choice, and they knew that, but they put that aside and we still got along very well.
Can we really vote for someone who is surround by a few dozen conservative bigots who are practically zombies because their own hearts rarely bleed except when it's a good photo op or news story? Or should we vote for someone whose heart bleeds more often and who actually cares about people across the country and the world without having the media over his shoulder?
Does this seem fair?

This is the story of two co-workers, one is a man, the other is a woman. The woman started almost seven months before the man, and the man managed to slip pass a step in our corporate ladder.
The situation. The woman had to ask our boss to have the information packet and test questions in order to go up to the next level. The man didn't have to ask, and was handed the packet with no questions asked or really answered. The man works hard, but works slowly so the clock will keep running and he gets overtime. If the woman tries to do that, she could get into trouble. The man also is disorganized and leaves his workstation a mess, while the woman does not. Also this man isn't even fully trained yet, like the woman, yet he is being promoted to the same level as the woman which she says is unfair because she had to tell the manager many times that she was due for her promotion.
I also work here and he got his pay raise after six months. I've been there seven months and still haven't gotten a raise, and yes, I'm a woman if you haven't already figured this out. Of course the woman, is upset about this and we feel that he is suddenly getting this special treatment because he is one of the few men who work at our store. In the staff of about thirteen people including the manager, only four of them are men including the manager, the rest of us are women ages 20- about 50 (she won't tell me her age, but she is a grandmother).
So is this a case of gender discrimination? If so, what can I do to help my co-worker and whom should I call to get some form of imformation?

I work at a place where I see, the good, the smart, the bad, the idiots, the ugly, the drunk, the drugged up, the perverted (remember I'm a girl), and the just plain weird. Pretty much the movie Clerks has nothing on me.
But this guy really got my attention. He comes in drunk and reeking of cheap beer (before five p.m. on Memorial Day!) and starts going on and on about random things. I allowed him to stay since he wasn't really bothering customers. Than an old man comes in wanting to play the lottery, the drunk starts to ramble again.
"I hate people who play the *** lottery" he says. "If God intended us to be rich, than he would've made us rich! And it's ***** that people think that it's going to pay for our schools. If it did, I would've made it pass tenth grade!"
After that I had him leave. Frankly, I'm surprised this guy even made it to tenth grade. But now that I think about it...I sell at least fifty dollars worth of lotto everytime I go to work if not more. So if you average between all of the stores that sell lotto ticks, that's like hundreds of thousands a day alone, yet there are all of these changes to school schedules, lunch is going up and other things.
It can't just be because of the payout for tickets either.
If all of this money is going to the schools, why are the schools still suffering. Has anyone else thought of this. Is someone lining their pockets, if so who?
I've never really brought this up before, but this was brought to my attention just a few days ago. My boyfriend and I were out to lunch and I overheard this couple talking about how they wished their son would go out more, but he stays locked in his room all day. From what I heard, the kid is like in high school and rarely goes out much. Now they bought him every system he has, including both PS3 (which runs around four or five hundred dollars) and an X-Box 360 (close to four hundred dollars) this isn't even including the games which can be about thirty to fifty dollars each if you know where to shop. But you really can't just play one game and be happy.
My boyfriend and I leave and at the same time we actually say: "Why did they buy the games if they didn't want him to use them?" We're both gamers, which means, I spend on average, forty hours playing games a week, ten hours online (which isn't a lot if you go by week) around thirty at work, about sixteen hours at school, and the rest is either sleep, eating or just reading. He's worse than I am at about sixty hours a week because he's already graduated and he has every system except PS3 and X-Box 360 and he has a more flexible schedule.
So here is my question for hopefully awhile because I know a lot of you are tired of reading my comments if you read them at all.
Why on earth do people go out, buy a bunch of electronics for their kid and than start to complain when the games start to warp their minds?!
I'm not talking about the games that are good, bad or ugly. I'd be a hippocrite to be against video games. But even in the little books that come with the games, they recommend rest after about five hours. (Go ahead and check, it should in most older games) I also take time not to play and to go out more. This isn't about the subject matter in video games, I want to know why people go out to buy them.
Also did you notice I changed my avatar? It's Gloria from Devil May Cry 4. One of the best series ever!

I've always heard politicians says things like we're going to be tough on drugs, however, isn't alcohol a drug? And nicotine and caffeine? The legal drugs are still drugs. Even another drug that most people don't like to hear/talk about. I just heard about it myself today, it's called Aspartame.
Aspartame is very popular in artificial sweetners, like Equal and NutraSweet. It's even in Diet Coke and according to my source, it's like a drug. Once you go on it, you can't go back to regular sugar, it doesn't give you that...feeling for lack of a better word. However, it could lead to possible brain tumors, brain lesions, and lymphoma.
It's just plain ridiculous that in the state of Florida, if you're caught drunk driving, you get like what, a license suspension of about six months and maybe a fine while if you're caught with marijuana, not smoking it, just having at least five or six grams, you loose your license for two years.
So my question is this. If we're going to crack down so hard on illegal drugs, why won't they crack down on the legal drugs that are just as deadly.
I am just asking why can't we focus on the legal drugs as much as the illegal drugs? They are just as addictive and dangerous.
It says in the Constitution that religon and state are seperate. So, should you really vote for someone who has the same religious beliefs. No offense, but isn't that how we were stuck with Bush? So what does this other guy being Mormon have to do with anything? Is it really right to judge politians based on their religious views instead of their polical views?
Vacant lots and empty buildings

That's all I see now when I'm riding my bike near Casselberry City Hall! Vacant lots and empty buildings. The only thing that I see is that new Lowes they are building, but is Casselberry really a bad place to start a business or is it something else? By the way, please for the love of all that is human, YIELD TO THE ONES IN THE CROSSWALK!
Children or Parents gone wild?
Nov 13, 2007 | 2:16 PM PST

Since I don't have children of my own, I really can't understand this, but I hear a lot of older people saying that kids are rotten because their parents are rotten or child act the way thier parents taught them. My parents were strict, but fair and they gave me plenty of attention, and everyone says I'm a prodigy, but my brother is the complete opposite of me in everything, including hygiene and we were raised the same way.
My question to all parents or people who have bratty or good kids in their communities is:
Is this the parent's or the children's fault that kids have gone a bit wild these pass couple of years?
