Nightmare's Blog

Just read it and answer my question. Do you think this is funny or not? I have this on one of my notebooks for school and so far, only one person thought it wasn't funny and that was a teacher too. Harsh. So is it funny, true, or just something that the creator of the Simpson's did to kill time? He has a few books filled with comics like these and they're all hilarious in my opinion.

If you would look at the top Hawkeye the creator of the Simpsons did this when I was barely three years old. If you've ever watched the Simpsons, there are signs he is an atheist, anti-republican artist.

Examples:
In another comic he lists childhood traumas. One of them is (and I quote) "Republican Parents"

In The Simpsons Movie, you actually see Homer flipping through the pages of the Bible saying: "This book doesn't have any answers."

And in another comic which, if I find I'll put it up, it mentions how schools lie to you about things and try to get your mind set on their way. The Republican way.

This is exactly what the liberal agenda has in store for the future leaders of America. As bright as you are, it is sad to see you on this path. America the land of opportunity, rich or poor. An education is the greatest gift anyone can have, put it to good use. Be proud to be an American whether Republican or not....

What path are you talking about runner_mom, the path to free expression and understanding?

Free expression as the liberals and drive by media leads you to believe; "they don't practice what they preach". Look at all the messed up Hollywood Elite, every election they all want a "better America". Instead of spending their money on drugs, gambling, sports cars, million dollar mansions, private jets, cooks, drivers, you name it, they should help support the less privileged. They want the government to do it with our hard earned money in the form of taxes. Aside from an education you need to get a reality check.

Nightmare,
I did not mean to offend you with my opinions and yes freedom of expression should be protected. By the way, if you read the above, I too hate celebrity garbage.

Matt Groening POSSIBLY did that at age 3.

If you ever watched the Simpsons, there is no doubt where his loyalty lies.

He has always ragged on Democrats only. Especially your hero Bill.

Show me ONE episode to the contrary!

Matt grew up. You did not.

Excuse me, I meant when YOU were age 3!

There is no doubt he is anti-Democratic, and I repeat. Show me a single episode that he was anti-Republican.

Matt Groenig is a diehard Democrat, he went to Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. and was well known for his liberal and anti-political leanings.

From what people have told me he has always been one to point out the faults of both parties rather than feign ignorance because of his own political leanings. Oh yeah my brother went to the same school as him as well as a bunch of my friends in WA. They are pretty much the same mindset as Groenig. They have a strong distaste for all politicians because they feel they are all pretty much corrupt and self involved. I think not trusting politicians is part of the Curriculum at Evergreen State.

To look at the show and not see the liberal stance he takes in almost every episode kind of shows who's eyes are open and who's are closed.

He supports gay marriage and has repeatedly made shows that show gays and lesbians in a positive light in fact two of the main characters in the show are gay. He is for seperation of church and state and as such against prayer in school. He is pro-choice as well. He also has shown strong support for immigrant rights.

Just because he pokes fun at democrats doesn't make him a republican. At heart Matt Groenig is a Greener.

I rode my bike down the steepest hill in the history of forever or this?

Matt Groening rips on Republicans! Haven't you ever seen the episodes of the Simpsons where the Republican HQ is a big dark tower and members include a parody of Dracula and Frankenstein?! I grew up with the simpsons and check the copyright date. The Simpsons started when I was like a year old or sometime in 1988 when I was a newborn. So this was drawn after the Simpsons aired on TV.

Did someone actually write that they thought I was a 12 year old white boy when I'm a twenty year old black lady? Ugh...I need to find a not so right blog to blog on!

Old enough to vote, but still not old enough to drink. I'm a student at a small college and I'm a lot nicer than my nickname implies. I average a 4.0 GPA and my likes include white chocolate, wrestling (especially the wrestlers Jeff Hardy and Shannon Moore), drawing, painting, rock music like Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, Korn and Marilyn Manson, (yes I listen to Marilyn Manson wanna make something of it?) and video games. My dislikes are mushrooms, pickles, celebrity garbage, people who never look on both sides of the issues, people who generalize, Republicans in general and ignorance. I have been living in Central Florida for almost eight years and have been using most of my spare time to find every link between the oil tycoons and the Republicans in Congress.(Everyone has a hobby, this is mine).
