Time Flies When You Are Having Fun!

Today, I celebrated another anniversary at my job. It is silly that I celebrate this? I don't think so!!  Apparently, my co-workers feel the same way!! - LOL

I truly have a reason to celebrate.  I work with WONDERFUL people, but most importantly, I like my job!!

Thinking about it, I have always ended up having jobs I like.  Every single one of them!!

I was first hired to work in this Country on June 6th. This was right after I finished my studies.  I held that job for almost 8 years until I moved to Florida.

After enjoying a happy and relaxed pregnancy, and after having a wonderful year with my newborn, it was time to go back to the workforce.

I started my first job in Florida on April 10th.  I worked for almost a decade, but after going through major changes, the company did one final re-organization.  Out of 900 plus employees, only 25 were left at the end.  That was shocking and sad.

Fortunately, friendships were kept and to this date, I still have dinner once a month with that group of friends.  We've been doing this for a couple of years.  Wow!  Time does fly!!

So my new day of celebration became October 10th!!

The highlight through the years:  Being happy with what I do!!

Thank You, Guys, for celebrating with me today and for the cake.  I loved the writing on it!! - LOL

You know, there is no better way to celebrate than with TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE sprinkled with lots of CHOCOLATE MINI-KISSES!!

YUMMY!!! - ROFLOL

I feel I've been very fortunate to have come across all these opportunities.

And that is reason enough to celebrate, don't you think?? - LOL

I think one of the true keys to happiness, is having a job you love.

I have had jobs that I truly hated, and believe me, fewer feelings are worse than waking up in the morning, and truly dreading going to work. Every minute is an hour, and the only time you have any joy, is when the day is over!

Congrats! You are one of the lucky ones!

You know, Mater01, that cake was so 'chocolaty' I'm surprised our sugar levels didn't EXPLODE!! - LOL

Happy anniversary!
You are in all seriousness one of the happiest nicest people I know. It's nice to have someone around who loves life and their job so much. It's infectious and nice to see when so many people are so angry about life, work and just about everythign these days.

P.S. I can't believe I missed the chocolate cake with mini kisses on top!

Um ... uh ... mmm ... sorry Slgps. You should have seen it!! The cake practically disappeared in a matter of minutes!! We like chocolate cake - LOL

NeZe was good on her cake promise. A giant piece of chocolate cake showed up with my name on it! I'm still having bites of the cake one at a time. I want to make it last.... mmmmmmmmmmm.
