Deep Within the AutumnForest

by MoonOwl from The Brink of Madness

Last Post 13 days, 21 hours Ago

In my daily surfs I come across all sorts of stuff.  Some turns out to be true and some turns out to be bunk.  I came across this one and thought I'd post it.  I've heard that 03/09 is the date for the "Amero" to make its debut.  If that itself isn't bunk.  But this one I just had to share w/all the hubris about the "Rescue Plan"  Here's a bit :

US Ships 800 Billion AMEROS to China; Prepares to De-Monetize the US Dollar

The US Secretary of the Treasury has informed the China Development Bank that the US has shipped $800 Billion of a new currency called the Amero, which is to be based upon the merging of the economies of The United States, Mexico and Canada into what is termed as The North American Union.

The current American debt obligation to China, currently based on the US Dollar, is now estimated to be the staggering sum of $2.5 Trillion, and which this new Amero will be exchanged for $400 Billion of this debt as the current American currency is set to be devalued by 50 percent before the end of the year.

http://halturnershow.blogspot.com/2008/10/us-ships-
800-billion-ameros-to-china.html

Shall we all hope this is just another bunch of bunk?  I guess we'll know soon enough.

Well, well, well... I just came across this YouTube of Rep. Brad Sherman stating that they were threatened w/Martial Law coming to America if they didn't vote Yes on Monday:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaG9d_4zij8

Did I fall for a Shrill w/the comment on Martial Law meaning no votes? I hate when I do that. I should know better.

I found this YouTube from CNBC in 2006 talking about the Amero on a blog site too.:

Hysterical what you can find isn't it?

Tho, the one above of Rep Brad Sherman is not funny at all. Down right scary actually.

Plus, if or when the Amero comes about I doubt you'd be laughing either.

Look, he's devolved past words. Living in the now USSA can do that to a person.

Hey NeoCons, how does it feel to now live in a socialist society? Where corporate profits are kept and We TaxPayers pay for their losses?

Sounds like economic fascism to my little peabrain. The will of the people ignored. Threats from the big boys if they don't get their way?

I'd devolve too.

2 words "Resolution Trust". thumbs up

Resolution Trust was REQUIRED because the Savings and Loans were INSURED by the gov't.

WE HAD NO CHOICE!

We could have said NO to this bailout of unregulated and uninsured FAT CATS.

It's the greedy RWNJ, NEOCOM's (neo-commies) who are more interested in the condition of their pension investments than in the future of our country. Selfish greed motivates them.

Our pal can never admit that HE is wrong and his party is guilty of treason and for the destruction of America.

YD,

Hate to tell you but more democrats voted for it than republicans. If they are unregulated, then I guess Barny Frank(d) and Chris Dodd(d) are out of jobs? If this is only for the fat cats, then why did our FDIC insured amount double? We'll find out who to call greedy when we pin names to the billion dollars of extra pork that added to buy votes.

Answer this, what would have been the impact on the economy to do nothing?

BTW, you STILL haven't been able to articulate just what it is that Barny Frank and Chris Dodd do with their respective committees. Can you?

They do not police the banking industry...that's up to the EXECUTIVE branch.

I wonder which party has cried for "DEREGULATION" since Reagan? It's sure as hell not the Dem's, who believe Gov't should regulate EVERYTHING>

You may want to read the Constitution one day, it's a nice exercise.

Paulson is hiring a bunch of his cronies from Goldman Sachs to run the bailout......I feel SOOOOOOO protected.

BTW.....you were worried early on about your pension and 401K...is your personal well being more important than the free enterprise system?

BTW...Dodd and Frank do exactly what was done by their REPUBLICAN counterparts prior to 2007...the time when most of the damage was being done....BY A REPUBLICAN CONGRESS and DUMBO.....the very weak and VERY lame attempt to divert blame is pathetic at best.

Even though.....ALL share a part of the blame since ALL politicians are liars, crooks and thieves.

Do? Turn a blind eye to greed? Didn't Do? Have integrity and guts?

Hey, those two are politicians. Just like all the rest of them. Well, the few that voted against it may have shreds of guts & integrity left. Especially since they were all threatened to get their votes as we can see from the link I posted above about of Rep. Sherman speaking.

But you keep on w/the broken record about Dodd/Frank mmustangg. A little clue, this has been decades in the making by politicians on both sides of the aisle. It is also quite apparent that those same politicians abhor accountability and do everything in their power to avoid it and cover their buddies butts at the same time. As is completely obvious this week to anyone w/at least a peabrain.

Moo,

If you want to hear a broken record, just replay all of YD's comments. I have at least asked a legitimate question that has yet to get an answer. "What is their job?"

Didn't I make you your very own thread on Dodd/Frank? Perhaps you should ask "What is their job" there?

Do you have any comments on the NAU? How about the Amero? Anything on Martial Law being threatened if this bailout wasn't passed? How about anything to do w/the bailout that doesn't include trying to get your answer out of Yellowdog on my threads?

Yellowdog, Here's a YouTube that hows how much Goldman and commercial banks gave to some ahead of the vote:

Moo,

With all due respect, I was asking YD. If you are going to make a blog to pigeon hole my comments about Frank and Dodd, why don't you do the same with YD and his Bush hating/blaming comments? Why aren't you asking him the same questions I am? I'm spreading the blame equally from top to bottom. Meaning Bush, down to us! YD keeps making these blanket statements and when you try to show him examples like Frank and Dodd, to counter his one drum band, he turns a blind eye. Get an answer out of him about what those two do, and I promise I'll never mention it again. In your blogs anyway.

YD,

What are Frank and Dodd's job responsibilities? Is that too big a word or too hard a question? waiting

Why don't YOU tell me what they do, little Mr. Smartypants? I have explained the role of government to you many times.

While you are at it, tell me what is the role of the SEC and the Treasury Dept.

You seem to ignore a dozen legitimate points in favor of your fixation on Dodd and Frank, the least guilty of all the players so far.

You may also wish to illuminate us on your desire to protect your $$$ at the expense of our country?

Is your 401k more important than our country?

mmustangg read my blog view my photos
Oct 4, 2008 | 4:35 PM

YD,

I KNOW what they do and I have even TOLD you what they do. I want YOU to tell me what they do. You can't tell us what they do and then keep claiming there was no oversight and no regulation and the laundry list of single sided blame you have been "fixated" on.

BTW, I don't have my money in a 401K. My money is quite safe and quite sound. I have no problems financially other than I would like more money than I have. You see, while the rest of my friends were telling me to invest in real estate and turn a quick buck, I just laughed and said no thank you, knowing that every market turns.

You obviously don't know the role of the Congress, stang. if you did, you would know that the dem's have only controlled Congress since 2007 and the sins of the past are all attributable to your hero's.

Frank and Dodd were mere spectators while the damage was being done by Dumbo and your boys.

Good for you. Since you are not going to be affected by the "depression", why do you defend the fat cat bailout?

"Frank and Dodd were mere spectators..."

YD,

That's the 1st thing you have said that is correct but sadly, that doesn't answer my question.
YOU CAN'T/WON'T ANSWER IT! applause

At least Vittorio acts like an adult.

Vitt, I was pleasantly shocked to see how many in Orlando understand the bailout isn't a good thing. People are p.o.'d everywhere. Once again, we're at a 70% against 30% for situation and the minority wins. Funny how that happens? Threaten a bit of Martial Law and that the sky will fall and some ducks just fall into a row. Fortunately not all ducks.

At least we have a voting record to work from come November. I'm still amazed I'm voting to keep in a Rep I cannot stand. That this Rep didn't change their vote under pressure says this person has more conviction than I previously thought. It happens.
