Yesterday, Democratic Vice-Presidential Candidate Senator Joe Biden said:

"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America."

Why do you think he said this?

Happy Blogging,

Mike

Yea... I smell a test ballon. What I heard was that he would be willing to step aside if Hillary wanted to come in as VP! It works in with Obama's meeting today with Bill Clinton, but since I don't hear anyone from the left being replaced or campaign staff being let go, its likely not.

The Democrats know they miscalculated. (Actually they thought the media would carry them like usual. thats the only actual change in place...)

Senators Clinton and Obama fought a teeth nashing fight
for the democratic nomination. She's a smart woman,
and when she's not over-acting and playing the part
of a bar room brawler, she seems ok. She and Bill
are both intellegent people who care about our country,
but if Obama had selected Hillary, I think Obama
would have had his hands full dealing with the two
of them on a daily basis.
Joe Biden is a really nice and gracious man, and
I think he does genuinly like and respect Hillary.
They are both on the same team. They both know
we need democrats in power before it's too late.
Our country can not survive any more Bush-onomics.

First of all McCain is not Bush, and I think his ideas on reforming government are a more realistic alternative to Obama's Government run "everything". On education, since when did parents expect schools, basically, to take over the job of parenting? Sex education for Kindergartners? Education for infants? Sending more money to low performing schools? The schools and teachers are not the problem; is the unfortunate reality that some of the kids that attend these schools come from very "sad" and tragic family life. So you can build these schools with gold and you still could not fix the problem. Possible solution? Give parents in these schools who care about their kids education a CHOICE. They can send their children to better public schools or private; that is what McCain proposes and frankly a better solution. As for jobs, if Obama is elected, we will all end up volunteering for a Mammoth Government run organization that I am not sure who will be paying for it..... Perhaps us the taxpayers? If you "really" want to volunteer, all you have to do is go to your nearest Church....

I think Hillary will wait until 2012 and go for the Presidency. Bill Clinton was not even luke warm coming out of his meeting with BO.

I think that he was "testing the waters". I'm sure that with McCain's pick of Palin, Obama is regretting his decision not to pick Hillary. If there is a warm reception to the rumors of Biden stepping aside and Hillary stepping in, then that's what the Dems will do. I think they're running scared because McCain had the guts to shake things up, pick a woman and command the lead. Obama let his ego get in the way and it may have cost him the White House.

maybe Obama wants one of those "Changes," to be that he has two VP's, since he's so important and all. He does love control, and bigger government. Perhaps two VP's will fulfill his ego quest.
