President Bush is among the headliners at the                RNC Convention tonight speaking to the crowd via satellite at 9:30 p.m.

Democrats are trying to tie Sen. John McCain to               Pres. Bush.  He has approval ratings hovering around          30-percent.

Here's the question: Will The President be a liability,            or give a lift to the McCain-Palin Campaign?

What do ya think?

Happy Blogging,

Mike

I believe the weather Monday was a blessing for the republicans since it provided a great excuse to keep Bush from appearing in close proximity with McCain for photos. Also, it provided them with an opportunity to act concerned (on TV) for flood victims.

"Also, it provided them with an opportunity to act concerned (on TV) for flood victims."

Oh That's why THEY were the FIRST to organize fundraisers and in so doing,, Postponed their Convention..

SO good of you to straighten everybody out..America foolishly thinks that the Republicans put aside Politics to help their fellow Man..

But Hawkeye and CynPro,

Do you think Pres. Bush speaking tonight will hurt or help the McCain-Palin ticket?

I think the harm will be minimized since his appearance will be on screen, as opposed to in-person. I believe photos of Bush & McCain together (side by side) would have a negative impact on the McCain-Palin ticket. This removes the opportunity to take new photos.

IF you go by Republican Opinion on this it'll be a boon but if you go by the MSM ANYTHING that Bush does will ALWAYS be negative and villified.. And it'll be CAST that way too..

Fortunately..it is the Republicans that'll have the LAST laugh in November..

And December and January too when the Dems. lose their Lawsuits and February when the Supreme Court throws them the hell out of the courtroom,,, AGAIN...

Get it right Bush is not going to speak tonight, he is going to do what he always does, butcher the English language, as far as being an asset or a liability I believe that it would be more of a asset for McCain if they had Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speak as opposed to having George W. Braindead speak.

Given how Republican candidates avoid "W" like a plague while campaigning, it's obvious even his own party comrades think Bush a liability -- sort of like a relative nobody can kick out of the family, but is an embarrassment nonetheless. That photo of McCain creepily hugging Bush, the man who did his darnedest to destroy him in the primaries leading up to the last presidential election, like an orphan hugging Santa Claus will long haunt him.

Bush's unpopularity is a MYTH created by the slinking MSM and Democrat/Liberal types that are NOW attacking a MOM,,a Pregnant young woman and a baby..

It SHOULD be remembered that Lincoln ALMOST lost his re-election bid for the SAME reasons and went on to become heralded as one of America's Greatest Presidents..

DON'T FORGET THAT THE PRESENT DEM.CONGRESS HAS AFAR LOWER RATING THAN BUSH AND THEY WENT ON VACATION INSTEAD WORKING ON THE GAS ISSUE.
ALL SO DON'T FORGET THAT THE PRES. CANN'T DO MUCH IF CONGRESS ISN'T BEHIND HIM.

ALL SO KEEP MIND THAT IF "OBAMA" IS ELECTED IT WILL BE ALL DEM. POWER EVERYTHING WILL GO THE WAY THEY WANT HIGHER TAXS FOR ALL OF THERE FREE PROGRAMS, NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THAT COST ALL OF US 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS PER YR.
THEN YOU HAVE "OBAMA'S" GLOBAL POVERTY ACT S.2433 THAT WILL COST TAX PAYERS $845 BILLON DOLLARS, WHICH HE HAS SAID THAT HE WILL PUSH THROUGH. ALL THIS MONEY GOES TO THE U.N., NOT COUNTING ALL THE OTHER TAX INCREASES THAT THEY WILL PUT IN PLACE.

Hi everybody, knowledge REALLY IS power. As the 5pm co-anchor/reporter here at FOX 35, I learn something new each day from the people in our community who share their stories, opinions, and experiences. That's why I love journalism, and what we do here at the station. With these blogs, I hope we can learn from each other, share information, and grow from the diverse viewpoints around Central Florida. So, as I'm doing in this picture: sit back, relax, and blog away! Thanks so much, Mike
