According to cnnmoney.com, here are some ways you can save money on plane tickets.  Did you know this?  I didn't.  Does it work? Got any other insider tips to share?

1. Fly during the slowest days of the week (Tuesday and Wednesday)


2. Fly during the slowest time of the year                            

(Between Labor Day and Thanksgiving)

3. Fly to popular destinations at unpopular times

4. Buy during the cheapest times of the day (Saturday morning and again at 5pm)

Good point Deborah,

But if you're flexible, you might be able to save some money. I'm going to try the
"time of day tips" the next time I book a flight.
I'll let you know if it works.
