New Guns and Roses (see I promised I would write about GNR eventually; see post Appetite for Destruction)

Now that their new CD is out...tell me what you think.

I am super pleased. It is listenable, good for the gym too.

It's no Spaghetti Incident that's for sure.

Did anyone see Dolly in concert last weekend at UCF? She was fantastic!

I've been dying to see her for years, I missed the opportunity when I lived in Knoxville (though I've been to Dollywood more times than I can count).

I've always enjoyed her music especially when driving through her hometown of Pigeon Forge or through the Smoky Mountains.

Since I'm still on a Dolly high...give me your favorite Dolly song.

Both artists have out new cd's .

While these ladies aren't cranking out the same kind of music they are famous for from back in the 80's, both cd's aren't bad.

Madonna's Hard Candy is danceable but she's all marketing, I feel she's lost the soul of her music. Cyndi Lauper's Bring Ya to the Brink helps her remain true to her underground roots. My fav's from Lauper's cd: Into the Nightlife, High and Mighty.

I'm just so happy Lauper has a new cd! It makes me want to break out my bangle bracelets and dye my hair bright red and orange.

Which artist is better and why? That's what I'd like to hear from you.
