Bad I believe, but  not all ? Obama's in, bad I believe. The market dropped some 400 points and CHANGE today, bad I believe. Hillary's not in office though, not at all bad ! This should probably end the prospect of another Clinton in ofice. The Republican party will have to come up with another canidate in 4 years and since McCain wasn't my first choice, not at all bad ! Mitt in 2012 ! With the Executive Office, House, and Senate all in Democratic hands I believe their dubious talent s will get the full spotlight, not at all bad. These next 4 years ONLY the Democrats will get their full and just share of blame, not at all bad !

So just remember the Democrats and their  promises . Think they can accomplish that with : less taxes, smaller goverment, no drilling, no coal, and more of their insitefull management ? All of the while creating more jobs, better healthcare and a balanced budget ?

The one positive is that everything that is wrong will be their fault. And Republicans will play that card every time, every place.

Come on hurricanes, tornadoes, deficits, energy problems, mortgage crisis, EVERYTHING will be Obama's fault---He'll own it and so will the democrats. Not bad at all.

Meb ,How are ya? Your right ,turn about is fair play isn't it? Obama will be held responsible for acts of God , the greed of the speculators and the other party, but only if they can get the spin behind them.Otherwise you'll get what you just gotten.

Got to give the guy a chance... the GOP sqaundered it all by not being able to walk and chew gum at the same time. Bush kept us safe, freed 50 million muslims, had 8 million job growth and got us out of a Clinton recession even with Katrina, 911, and Iraq.

But they didnt do the job I would be proud of.

Obama might well implode and then we will see if those Liberal media types have that lousy grin on them still. ANd wonder if Oprah will even let Obama in the Building.

But, serious, give the guy a break. No hate for at least 3 years

You fellows keep singing the same crummy song. Whine! Whine! Bring me MORE Whine! Why don't you just rinse out your foul mouths, shave your backs, knuckles & uni-brows, and get on the web to Congress to bug them to DO THEIR JOBS! That's what we Independents, Democrats, NPAs are doing. Corporate CEOs, Lawyers, Politicians, Holy Rollers, et. al., are scum of the Earth, and mostly Get-Away-With-All-That-ICANS. Take responsibility for your RNC screw ups, and greed. You've had Congressional Power for 30 years and only a President, who is a Democrat, balanced the Budget and left a Surplus-Republican Ideals, I believe. If Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, or God Himself were elected President and claimed being Democrat, you guys would still whine and shift blame; Sheep, following that FAT Shepherd, Rush LimpBAH! Sheep get FLEECED OR SLAUGHTERED, which is happening right now. IMHO Thank You For Your Indulgence

lekvarcookies, I believe the deck of cards you are referring to are the ones that were given as gifts by the Democratic Party.
I agree that there is way more whinning than finding common ground but to put one party on a pedestal is insane. They are both liers and corrupt.

I'd like to see the republicans run Tony Suprano for president next time around.

All partisanship aside, we better all pray for Mr. Obama to succeed, if he does not, we will be the ones that suffer. Mr. Obama will have an eye opening experience maybe even as this is being typed as he receives his first CIA briefing today. Hype & fluff for hard real world reality. The candidate of "change" has been chosen and the will of the people in process of being carried out. Change has come to America, I pray the price isn't unpayable. Pray for our new president, we and he will need it.

Accomplishing all of those things would be difficult if not impossible for Obama in one term. After all, GW couldn't accomplish them in two.

But I guess that you did bring up a good point. Some people always need someone to blame.

Of course he will have his "honeymoon" period....all presidents do. Unfortunately his period is already marred by two long, on-going wars, huge trade deficits and national debt, an economy that is in the pits and getting worse as a result of lies, greed, and a deceitful government, a huge immigration problem, crumbling infrastructure, horrible international relations, etc. Other than that he is going into a perfect situation.

The time is over for debating whether we like him or not. For whatever reason over 50% of the nation needed this "symbol" and voted him in not paying any attention to what he actually stood for. It is time now to fill this "empty suit" with what we need it to contain. Now get your voice heard about what you need from this guy. What you will tolerate and what you wont. Whining is not effective. This guy must serve us and we must direct him with clear messages.

greed (gred) Pronunciation Key
n. An excessive desire to acquire or possess more than what one needs or deserves, especially with respect to material wealth:

Greed, that is the correct term for being in favor of any kind of wealth redistribution or financing a home that you know you can't afford.

Hey pete, all right man, thanks ! Thanks to EVERYONE else for you're comments as well ! No hate or whinning here, just don't think too terribly highly of our new President elect. I didn't think much higher of the guy I voted for either ! LOL !!! One example is the Freddie May and Freddie Mac meltdown. I heard some clips on Radio and watched a few clips on CSPAN of some of the Democratic leadership crowing about their fine efforts before this crisis. Since the MELTDOWN, I haven't heard word of many or even a single Representative crowing about ALL of their fine and wonderfull accomplishments in this case. There is BLAME, there is CAUSE, and there are THOSE that are RESPONSIBLE ! The DONKEYS took the lead on this one, a number of Republican's followed. What good can you say of those ( Republicans ) that stood in line behind the a$$es ( Democrats )? I'm really kinda impartial about this kind of thing, HANG THEM ALL ! To avoid claims about any type discrimination, I'm agreeable to flippin a coin to see who goes first !

BE HAPPY and BLOG ON ! :)
