Another find ? The REAL story told ?  You've all heard of Bill Heard Chevrolet, right ? The news story told was that due to an economic down-turn the largest Chevrolet dealership in the world has closed, right ? Well I guess that kinda depends on who's doing the story telling. RIGHT ?

I've always believed that  "timing", being in the right place at the right time has more effect on life than about anything and that includes learning and new sources of information.

Our company had a meeting today on the 401K plan and the financial advisor made a rather intresting statement. He'd asked if anyone had heard of Bill Heard Chevrolet and it failure due to a bad economy ? That's the WRONG story by him. He'd stated that there were so many complaints about bad bussiness practices, in reguards to selling cars, that GMAC Finance Corporation pulled out as his primary lender. Amagine that !

Wonder which story is the REAL story ? I don't, when it conscerns finance, I tend to go with the SOUND advisors.

My ex and I bought a Chevy Avalanche from them (Sanford) and we ended up using our bank because of GMAC not wanting to lend us the money because of the dealership (we didnt know that at that time).
Our credit rating at the time was around 740/760 depending on what each of the credit reporting agencies report.
We did get the truck and a nice family photo courtesy of Bill Heard Chevrolet. We didnt even think they were shady. We were treated great. Better than that Bob Dance loser dealership.

Meb- I heard the same thing you did. And I in a way believe it. Yes, some people have experienced good things with Bill Heard, but I have heard of many, including myself, that have been mistreated. I guess this is just a story that will go uknown.

Fox news did mention GMAC pulling Bill Heards credit. This the SECOND time in the last 20 years this dealership has done this, And they just like the habeeb stores will open again under a different name.

If I recall correctly it was a guy from the Sentinal that gave that news statement and also said that he didn't know how many more would included as well. It really didn't make any since. He claimed he got that tip from someone within so he didn't have the complete story...so if he got the story wrong then he was taken for a wrong way ride! They should check on stories first before they print or speak, you right about that! So now the true story unfolds!

This story makes more since! Thanks for the truth behind the scenes Meb!

The truth always comes out, doesn't it? Too bad for people who had to get rooked by them first, and find out later!
