Spending Your Rebate Refund

As you may have heard the Bush Administration said each and every one of us would now get a nice rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.

If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs or VENEZUELA.

If we purchase a computer it will all go to India.

If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.

If we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan.

If we purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way to keep it here at home is to buy American. But it would seem that prostitutes and beer are about the only businesses still in the US, and even comes well recommended known within the politicians! LOL

Do you know what your doing with your rebate refund?

I'm going to use the money to get my bills caught up. I'm getting $1,800 back and it will help much to get back on track.

I think if most Americans use the money to invest or pay off debt it will help for the tough road ahead.

Candy...did I get that mixed up...oops sorry! Oh well, you know the just of it...I'll fix that right now! Does this mean that you will be united with him...THAT'S GREAT! Two Snakes is holding his own for now. We have put two heads together and came up with a solution that seems to be working so far, we will know more on his next doctors appointment!

Since our government insists on including illegal's...I guess we all know where that money is going and not going! That is more wasted money that could feed and help our homeless American's...but they do have their priorities now don't they!

It seems most of my money goes to Wal Mart, gas stations, mortgage and car payment so it will go to one of the above.

Whatever I end up with will go into savings, I'm still pading the " crash matress "! There have been a number of reasons listed for the economic downturn such as : the banking and loan industry, the war in Iraq, fuel prices, and the value of the dollar. I propose an additional reason : Little to no faith in our elected officials, as half want to steal your money and retirement fund, and the other half appear to be looking away ! There are still plenty of stout trees in America and still plenty of stout rope. I can think of a way to restore faith in our representation. Can you envision my dream ?

Some of the Disney movies would suggest so Mater. America has been labeled as a country where your dreams can come true, that would suggest it possible as well. However I don't believe that dream would end up as one of their film releases. I was standing out front earlier trying to remember the words to " Wish Upon a Star ", now where's that damn star when you need one ! LOL !!!!!!

That check is going right into paying off my credit card debt. The sooner I get that sucker paid off, the sooner I can start saving money again and investing.

JD...Everyone has the same ideas there but I think it's also a why to get certain government things off their minds, kinda like a "please forgive me" from our government. There isn't no telling what they will do next!

I never received a card telling me that I was getting anything, nor did my son. I think they forgot about us. But if I did get any refund, I would probably take the family out to a dinner show where we could be together and enjoy ourselves. It won't be enough money to pay off anything.

Sorry to hear that Candy. I know it's tough but you of all people I know will get through it! My niece did and has now built her credit back up. She had to file bankruptcy while going through her divorce.

Hey mater
you just had to remind me that for the first time since I was a teenager Uncle Sam owes me nothing...I think he should pay me just because I made it through another year. If I had worked this year I would have used my money to hire someone to help me learn this dadburn computer. I feel like the only one on here who stays lost all the time. Heck I can't even upload an avatar.LOL
