If the goverment wants to do something to fix our poor broke down system, then please STOP giving the very problem causers more money to blow or as they say BONUS PAY. No the answer is really a very very simple one. Our taxpayers should not incur more debt for these poorly operated companies. No , no, no, want to fix our problem here's how you do that................SEND EACH TAXPAYER A CHECK . Not 600.00 or 1500.00 no divide the trillion dollars that the wall street jokers and auto manufactors, lenders ,mortgage companies and all the other bailout prospects want and instead give those taxpayers the money and watch what happens lenders will get paid homes will be saved, cars will be sold and you will see and instant recovery of our system. You don't keep helping companies that need sales to survive . You create funds for the products they make or sale to be had by the CONSUMER. Not  theWelfare role or the illegals. The tax payers who are your homeowners whose jobs are lost due to faultering sales ect. Put the money in the hands of the consumer and he will do the rest . Our country would be working again and our work force would be paying taxes again. Homes saved.....Credit Cards Paid.....Credit Availible due to the fact the work force is working to produce the hard goods now affordible by the taxpayers. Which is our Work Force....think I'm wrong ? Well it's a better plan and stands a better chance of working to save our way of life then handing over 750 billion dollars that they are already saying we need more. My friends they will keep their hand out until we say no congress we want it done a different way . Give us the taxpayers those monies and we will have a strong working economy once again.  Does this make sense to you ? Isn't this a far better plan to recover with ? Wouldn't it be almost instantly repaired after receiving these funds. The Goverment knows who filed taxes so those are the people that would receive checks. About  $200,000.00 each taxpayer would receive. Tell me how many homes that would save and how many new homes and cars that would buy. There you have it  The Mount Dora Fans Plan.

Is it me or do the T.V. stations way over play the weather hipe. You know all they the Weather reports are always wanting to tell us how we should not water our yards wash our cars or shower to often. The Lakes are Rivers in Florida can well do with the rain that Mother Nature has sent us. We need ever drop of this rain and yes more as well. So please quit complaining and visit your local lake soon. However feel free to water your grass and shower before your visit.

The Big O is down 20 plus feet

Lake Toho down 4 to 6 feet

Staint Johns river 6 to 8 feet below normal level

These are only a few but all of the inland water ways are very low and the costal counties need the rain to put water back into the ground water to stop the salt water intrusion.

So go back to the office and stop looking foolish standing in a storm that we all can see for our selves how much rain is falling. I can't believe that you have made this poor little storm out to be such a bad thing as bad as we need this rain.

Who pays our Congress persons fuel bill ?

Who pays their hospital insurance ?

Who pays their meal tabs ? (including bar tabs)

Who carries credit cards paid for by the goverment ?

Who rides to and from their office in Cabs and Limos paid for by the goverment ?

Who has received trips to destinations that you and I can only dream about ? ( paid for by the goverment ) with no reason to be there except to attend a meeting that could have been held in D.C. instead of WHERE-EVER  it was that they wanted to go. Greece, Italy, Spain, you name it they been there.

This list could go on an on but the short of it is this, how do WE stop it ?

Our tax dollars wasted on call girls , bar tabs, limo rides, and big vacations.

We as a Nation need to HOLD these jerks accountable. I don't care which party you belong to , both have their theives, who have taken advanage of their positions and jobs. I for one, want it not only stopped, but i want the guilty persons who have used credit cards improperly. To take home goodies to their wives, girlfriends, and kids, to be put behind bars. They're stealing your money and mine. Talk about robbery, Congress is worse than OPEC .  Notice that none of the BIG three running for the BIG job,  has offered to render that golden PORK BARREL out-of-service. No, just the oppsite they have all talked about all the big PORK PROGRAMS they would put in place.

God is this country in bad shape , or what ? Please tell me I'm not alone in my concerns.......THANKS FOR HEARING ME OUT

 

Can anyone tell me why the low lifes like the ones who killed the policeman at the bank in Pine Hills are on the street ? Why were they free to rob and kill ? If the court system isn't changed we are all victims.......of a system that only worries about the rights of those who break the law . To hell with over paid judges that only want to find a loop hole or glitch in our laws to declare a mistrial and let killers walk free. Right OJ ? Right Phil Spector ? We the people need to demand that the clowns who release these low lifes to pray again on honest law biding folks are removed from the bench. My heart goes out to the family of the officer who died for a few bucks whose life had been to service and protect. Please demand justice for him and his loved ones.........PLEASE.

I over the racism card and I think that I'm just One of millions of Americans that feel the same way. Where ever Al S. or Jessie J.  are, they are always playing the race card. Why? So they can continue to suck in funds from the NAACP . The fact is that if anyone should be playing the race card it should be someone who is discrimated against...Right ? Well here's a list of things that I feel discriminate against someone . Allow yourself a minute to think about these......

(B)The BET channel.... let's see that's BLACK Entertainment  channel

(C)BLACK college reunion  (what happen to intergration)

Now  if The Miss America contest didn't allow black women to compete then (A) would make since, but they are allowed and do compete.

If I or anyone wanted to have a TV channel Just for German, Irish, or Jewish people then (B) would make since to me.

All college's should be encouraging students of all races to apply. That's what I thought opening the doors of our colleges and univerisities was supposed to do away with, the race issue. Now was that just to give people like Jessie J. and Al S. something to holler about or is it in fact what our country has done for the black race. They yes THEY seem to wish to remain seperate and apart from main stream Americans. Imus's remarks were stupid, but they were his, and I feel that he has a right to say what he thinks about how the PLAYERS presented themselves. His opinion is his and he should be allowed to voice it. Listen to the remarks made by Jessie and Al if you want to hear some race remarks.

Does congress have the right to require the President to allow that they be entitled to question persons around the President ?Persons who have wrote or said things to him ( The President ) which they felt were said in confidental surroundings ? Or are they totally out of line with their demands ? Should they be required to be sworn before answering questions for the congress if they are to testify. Does the President have the same rights to question Senate and Congressial aids about their knowledge of certain Sentors and congressmen or women's actions and conversations ? The Attorney General is not doing his job if he is allowing Mexico to dictate to him that he must proscute the boarder patrolmen who are now serving time for doing their jobs. No I don't care how he spells his name . He failed these two men very badly and the President needs to explain why this has went uncorrected. So does congress. If the President wants him to keep his job then he The Attorney General needs to CORRECT this wrong.

Will it work ? I truly believe so if indeed the market is driven by supply and demand it must work.  My honest feelings are that the gasoline market is driven by greed and when the sales aren't there watch them scramble for the buck.

What exactly makes a story worth reporting ? Well it seems to me that the news media is more concerned about gossip and so called celebs......which at best are comedies, not NEWS. No NEWS should be important events of major concern to the viewing public.

Anna Nicole Smith's death is a loss to her friends and her family, but not a real loss to our country. In fact I'm not certain that her actions when in public didn't warrant arrest . If anyone else abused drink and drugs as openly as she, they most likely would have been arrested. 

Did this person ever contribute any single thing to soceity ? Did she give anything to anyone that she wasn't paid to do. The " Heff " is a walking disgrace to all men and women with morales. His money was made from the Anna Nichole's of the world. One has to only look at where her life took her to know that this poor woman was a taker not a giver. Sorry but i feel no sadness or concern for her death. I'm sadden that the child she bore has to have DNA testing to determin who the so called "FATHER" is. Get off it NEWS FOLKS.  The court will do it's job. Sorting out the mess . The world won't notice that another druggies life has ended. She died as she lived. Not in honor but in shame. I always wonder where these people come from that want to interfer in everyone elses lives.
Really, think about this person wanting to tell others how to raise their children.Whatever is she thinking ? Child abuse is against the law in every state in the United States. Spanking ....however is not, as long as it is done properly. I made it very clear to my children that if they didn't behave they would not like where that would leed. I raised four children 1 boy and 3 girls ....did I spank ? EVERY TIME they mis-behaved . I can remember having to spank my son (Twice)and my daughters having heard and seen their older brother being corrected chose not to misbehave. So they never got a spanking but they also understood that if they didn't follow the rules of our home they would be. My question is what gives this politican the where-with-all to even think she is the formost authority in child rearing. My Children were all happy, healthy, and WELL MANNERED. When we went out to eat as a family I was always complimented by others on how our children acted. None has ever been in any trouble with a school, the law, or even with other kids when they were growning up. My son finished school and served in the Navy (Dessert Storm),is now a Fire-Fighter. My daughters all finished school two have married and all three have very good careers. I have three grand children and they are all very well behaved....it seems THEIR PARENTS have rules for them to follow too. Image that.....And without a politican sticking their oversized nose where it's not needed, wanted, or entitled to be

Just listen to all the National Media/Sports casters make excuses for "THE OHIO STATE" unv. Ted Ginn got hurt ....too long between games ....they haven't played in 50 days.....
Well hear this Ted Ginn doesn't play defense so his play wouldn't have changed the points that the GATORS put up. However if the officals would have called the holding on OSU on that opening kick-off then they would have had fewer points ......if it would have been anyone but OSU and Ted Ginn they would have called it. I knew Florida was going to win that game ...OSU'S sch. is a joke so is the BIG TEN CONFERENCE......It's really the Big Two conference OSU and Michigan ....who else in that bunch is worthy of playing with the SEC.......seeing is believeing and 42 to 14 says it all
