I was going to see a Christmas show at the Gaylord Palms in which a friend is appearing, he's a guitar player, and the show is a mix of Trans-Siberian Orchestra and classical with some acrobats. Now I had not been back att he Gaylord in a  few years, used to just go and park. When I went yesterday they had changed it so you have to go through a gate and get a parking ticket. It's not until you are at the gate that they tell you that parking is $12. Which to me seems like too much for a hotel parking lot that used to be free. I can see Disney or Universal charging, and they charge $10. But at least there you park for the whole day to go to a PARK. But at the Gaylord? $12? The other thing is that there is no sign leading into the Gaylord's parking area that even says you pay, so once you are there, it's not easy to drive elsewhere and not in.
