Pretty disgusting, but what else can we expect? People watch these things, comment on them, give the 'stars' their fifteen minutes, so what can we expect?

Now there is speculation, or whispered rumors that the victim is preganat and these lil rednecks are facing murder charges if she loses the baby as a result of the beating. So, I have to wonder if their fifteen minutes is worth the time they're facing as a reult of their little video.

Can anybody tell me what earthly good You Tube or MySpace does anyone?

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is pushing to have these 'children' tried as adults and if the victim is pregnant and does lose the baby, do you think he's right to charge the eight kids involved with murder?

Absolutely disgusting! Those "children" need to be given sentences that are in terms of years, not months. If the victim is pregnant, she and her unborn child should each count as a victim and yes they should be charged with murder if the baby dies. Any word as to why they choose to beat her instead of someone else?

If NOTHING else,,in THIS case,,it provided PLENTY of evidence to this crime..

Yes indeed,,I'm with YOU rexsmom, It's about time someone held these "gangs" accountable..

They're definately old enough to KNOW better and NOT too young to escape responsibility for their actions..

The LAST thing that our young people need to learn is for these "Stars" to teach them that "Beating the system" is as EASY as ganging up on someone...

The whole You Tube thing shows the mentality of todays youth. Too stupid to realize that they are providing proof positive that yes they did do that. Proof for the whole world to see. You have to wonder if there are any brains in folks these days.
If you're going to commit a crime, for Pete's sake have enough sense NOT to lead the cops straight to your door.
The ring leader was bragging about how big and bad she was. As far as I can tell from the video, the only thing big and bad about her is her ass and her breath!

ANOTHER reason why she and all of them should be treated as adults..
The short term effects of the Juvenile route will ONLY serve to bolster that "Gang Mentality" of being a "Bad Ass".. Their "Reputations", from that "Gang Mentality", would ONLY benefit from such treatment while their being handled as "Misunderstood" Kids would ONLY reward,,and NOT in ANY way penalize,,, such behavior.

I just dont get what the question is here..

People like fights, they film them (video evidence) and post it on the net for everyone to see. There are even site where people will pay to view these sites!

We are sick and like to watch. (we as a nation like to watch crashes, injured sports players, boxing, street fights, ect.)..

When there isn't a want or need to view this stuff it fades away.. But fights attract people from all walks of life and ages..

signal12,Speak for yourself - I don't like to watch; it turns my stomach. Furthermore, there is a big difference between watching two relatively equally matched boxers duke it out in a ring with a ref and an agreed set of rules, and watching a teen gang ambush an unsuspecting victim. The latter is pure sadism, and people who actually enjoy watching that sort of thing should seek help, because they are twisted.

I could not and will not view the video. I am SICK over this. The poor girl in that video could have been my 16-year old daughter.

C'mon folks get your kids off the computer and give them constructive activities to participate in.

Parents - WAKE UP!!! Monitor your kids computer activity, give them RULES!!!! our family fell into the myspace trap for a while but it is no longer allowed in my house. It's nothing but a bunch of garbage.

Parents - you are the PARENT stand up and say NO!!!!!

I think it's a shame, most parents don't instill in their kids honor. So what if someone is running their mouth about you and your friends. Doesn't mean it's truth. Also, it shouldn't have bothered these teens enough to become violent. Poor child couldn't even protect her self from these hellions.

Fla Native, That's not what I said. I didn't say I liked boxing, and I don't watch it. signal is saying, hey man, what's the diff, it doesn't matter who is getting pounded or why, everybody likes to watch anybody getting beaten for any reason. I said there is a difference between two professional boxers who are prepared and know what to expect getting into a ring, and thugs ganging up on an unsuspecting kid. The difference shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.

Anyone who enjoys watching this is sick. The parents should suffer along with their street urchins.
