NO MATTER HOW YOU SAY IT ... THIS IS GOODBYE FOR ME HERE AT FOX 35.  IT TRULY IS BITTERSWEET!

I'VE BEEN HERE FOR 3 1/2 YEARS AND SEEN SO MANY CHANGES ... A BRAND NEW STUDIO SET, THE ADDITION OF THIS WEBSITE I'M BLOGGING ON, AND THE ADDITION OF THE 5PM, 6PM AND 11PM NEWSCASTS.  THESE TOOLS ARE ALL AIMED AT YOU, THE VIEWER, AND SERVING YOU TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITIES.

I'VE ENJOYED MY TIME HERE AT FOX 35.  THERE ARE A LOT OF GOOD PEOPLE IN THIS NEWSROOM - A FRIENDLY, FUN, AND HARD WORKING STAFF.

AS FAR AS MY NEW WEATHER GIG GOES ... I WILL BE STAYING IN THE FOX FAMILY.  I'M JUST HOPPING OVER THE POND (A.K.A. THE GULF OF MEXICO) TO HOUSTON, TEXAS.   I WILL BE DOING THEIR MORNING SHOW FROM 5AM-9AM (M-F) ... BASICALLY, I'LL BE JIM VAN FLEET IN HOUSTON (MINUS THE SINGING) !  :)

IT'S TRULY BEEN A PLEASURE TO BRING YOU THE WEATHER EVERYDAY ... I HOPE YOU FOUND IT FUN AND INFORMATIVE.

NO MATTER WHERE LIFE TAKES YOU ... MAY SUNNY SKIES STAY WITH YOU ALONG THE WAY!

HOUSTON, HERE I COME!!!

KRISTI :)

If I didnt live most in LA (soon) I would live in Houston. Nice people and a great town. But they have Texas and Texas A&M stuff. Wear the SEC proud.

ANd knock on the Keyboard... no hurricanes to hit Houston anytime soon (or here too).

Have fun.... You do know you are the only one who has SEEN Truthguys... in person... SHHHHHHHH keep it secret.

let me be the first of our weather staff at 35 to write what a wonderful met, and friend we have in powers.

for those of you who don't know she gave 3+ years to her passion to be away from her husband and we always said....how do you guys do it?

it wasn't easy and kristi and tate have done the best they can to deal with the 1000 seperation, but while we are sad that we are losing a part of our family....kristi is extending hers and finally walking into a well deserved position that will find her with her life long best friend and a another fox station too....now come on - you can't make that up at how cool that is!!

love both of you guys....and i will hold you to that guest room when i cross the gulf.

i know everyone in central florida has already seen how sweet you are so god bless you two and enjoy....you never know how much time we are given to enjoy what is really important ( yes it is not getting up at 2am mrs. new jim van fleet - houston version )

love you guys........see you for oklahoma vs. texas weekend in october!!

Jim - what a nice note to/about Kristi. Thanks for filling the rest of us in.

You're going to have to teach her 'the Friday dance' for her broadcasts!

: )

Sorry Kristi, you're no Jim Van Fleet.
No comparison.
You are MUCH more attractive, and you could learn to sing.
