We already know Barack Obama likes to brag about not taking money from oil companies. Well that's all very nice, Senator Obama, considering the fact that it is against federal law for corporations to make campaign donations. So, why don't you talk about those oil company executives who given $222,309 to the Obama campaign? Why do you always seem to fail to mention that? Now it's looking like this coy language is not just limited to oil contributions. Obama also claims that he doesn't accept contributions from political action committees or lobbyists or the pharmaceutical industry. But campaign finance records are now showing that Obama has received tens of thousands of dollars from people in these same industries and groups that he claims to be against.

The Center for Responsive Politics says that Obama is getting a lot of money from people representing lawyers and law firms, security firms, real estate and Hollywood. And when it comes to lobbyists -- state lobbyists, non-wage-earning spouses of lobbyists, and lobbying firm employees -- have contributed $115,163 to Obama's campaign. He's also received $528,765 from people in the pharmaceutical and health industry. This is on top of the money from oil company executives and their spouses, as well as bundled contributions from nuclear power and utility executives.

Every politician does it, but why does Barack Obama insist that his campaign is different? Why is he trying to convince you, the ignorant voter, that he is running a "clean" campaign ... because in this day in age, you can easily track any donor.

So, Hawkeye, clarify. Are you saying the problems with our political process, like the crucifixion, are the fault of influential Jews? LOL. Furthermore, your assertion that lobbyists for the most part are honest and benevolent......like the AARP...holy sh*, the AARP? I've got a FACT filled blog on the way about lobbyists, because your statement is laughable at best. Tell me again how John McCain is above the GREED and DISHONESTY. It's easy for dems to vilify reps and reps to vilify dems because both parties are villainous in nature.

The Obama campaign is so riddled with lies, it is impossible to keep up with them. The only reason he (& they) are pointing fingers is because they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar (again). He is running a "clean campaign", yeah right. They were the first to start throwing mud and every time they get caught, they point the finger at anyone and ask the MSM to bail them out. The Obama crew are the king of half truths, lies, and finger pointing.

The earmarks she supposedly cut were really just shifted to other projects. "Bail-outs" and government fundings you complain..... Do you forget how much your conservative president shelled out in stimulus checks....twice....Do you forget how much governor Palin pays out to Alaska....Do you forget how much our government pays out in tax credits to people who don't even pay taxes?........but wait..I bet you were a SUPPORTER of the stimulus checks AND (EIC)'s and tax credits when you heard you'd get your piece of the welfare pie.... SO WHY ARE YOUUUUUUUU TRYING TO TALK LIKE A FISCAL CONSERVATIVE NOW? YOU ILLUSTRATE THE FRIGGIN' PROBLEM WITH AMERICA. I just watched that clip mentioned by myfreespeech and all I can say is WOW. He nailed it square on the head. I can say this without hessitation, I will not support CNN, Oprah, or NY Times ever again. I am truly scared of what Obama will do to this country.
