Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin plans to sit down this week for her first television interview since John McCain chose her as his running mate. A campaign adviser says they offered an interview to Charles Gibson of ABC News for later this week.  It will be done in Alaska.

Do you think Governor Palin should do lots of interviews so people can get to know her or do you think she should only do a few interviews to control the message?  What are your thoughts?  Blog 'em here.

If you are really wanting to know more about her, simply google her. Actions speak louder then words anyway. She can talk until she is blue in the face and it doesn't say half as much as actually getting rid of that luxury governor's jet. I think the real test will be when she debates Biden. I just can't wait! I wish it were on earlier in the evening.

Here's a good place to start:

People need to self educate. If we all relied on the media to educate us we would all be brainless democrats like you Keith!

She has nothing to hide and you would think that multiple interviews would be good for her and the party, but the dems and libs will take EVERYTHING she says and twist and turn it around. They will take any and all oppertunities to throw mud at her to make their golden boy look good. She will mop the floor with Biden so bring it on.

Yes, the debate with Biden will be interesting,
if her party lets her debate him.

Not sure Biden will have a rear end after the debate......she will destroy him!!

YES! Should run the circuit, Letterman, Leno, and everywhere else that will be impartial.

NOT Oprah! She has endorsed her candidate, and could not possibly be impartial.

But any other impartial show or media outlet should be a must. She is an incredible, interesting, woman.

She is a true American, with true American values that all the world needs to see.

Few things inspire me. Gov Sarah Palin inspires me. I too can't wait for the debate between she and Biden. I can't predict how it will come out but there's hopes Gov Palin will knock it out of the park. Can't wait!!!! I have faith in Americans. I think I can say for certainty that we all thirst for someone with good old common sense in the White House. As you watch the VP debate , I want to know how many of you say outloud "YES, You GO GIRL!!!".
The Dems are worried, that's how we know McCain made a great choice. This election process has been fun to watch hasn't it?
Keith, I don't think Gov. Palin had any time to grant interviews. She went from holed up in a hotel room, to announcing her acceptance, then straight to the GOP Convention. Give the Gov a chance. With her executive experience she'll do extremely well in interviews. Speaking of experience....is it me or have I been noticing Barry Obama stammering a bit lately?
BTW.... How about those STEELERS huh????

Ya know, I'm really interested to hear Governor Palin's views on immigration and illegal immigration. Do you know if this topic will be covered? It's a bit of point of contention.

Gov. Palin is already scheduled to debate Biden on Oct 2. On the other hand, Obama was supposed to do a series of "Town Hall" debates with McCain. McCain was rearing to go on those and Obama backed out. I guess his ideas aren't good enough to stand up in a debate.

She can do all the interviews she wants. The only truth you will get is from her voting record. Same goes for the other three. They tell what ever lie they think will get them votes...they can not hide their record. The record is the only truth available...

Let us know when she will air, I don't mind looking at her...I'll just mute the TV!

I am sure you will unmute it when Biden is speaking.

Rexsmom, Obama fears McCain SO much, I would not be surprised if he refuses to debate at all.

You couldn't be farther from the truth.

You can lie all you want, but you really have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
