War in Afghanistan is Still Intense

Pakistan says its offensive against extremists near the Afghan border has destroyed a number of their bases. Officials say troops have met little resistance. The Taliban says it's suspending efforts to reach peace deals and is vowing to retaliate.

A few days ago, Taliban backers executed two men accused of helping the United States with air raids.  The large crowd cheered the Taliban message and the executions.  What would you do with the war in Afghanistan as the Taliban continues efforts to regroup in the southern part of the country?  Blog it here.

The resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan has been going on for almost a year now, but aside from the News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS, most media outlets, Fox News included, ignore that war. Why is that?

You keep saying “Afghanistan” in this post but the men where taken into Pakistan where they where murdered in front of a cheering crowd (one was beheaded and the other because of his age was shot) . We are fighting Pakistan in Afghanistan just as we are fighting Iran in Iraq ! Our so called allies are less than dedicated to our needs...we must (and some day will) address the crimes of the Tali ban with out the false imposition of borders that our enemy does not have.
You also fail to mention that the UN is discussing this week legitimizing Islamic extremists in Pakistan as recognized militias and arming them ! Some of the groups being “considered” for recognition (including the men who murdered those “spy's” ) are self declared Al Qaeda groups.

And Joe , get a clue ! There where more “Taliban” Terrorist attacks this month in south America than in Afghanistan...this story took place in Pakistan NOT Afganistan.

P.S. Go ahead and elect OBAMA,WE ARE NEVER LEAVING IRAQ, we are building a 30 Billion dollar embasy at this point, just like we have in every other country we have invaded since the beginning of HISTORY!
