Faith is one of the most important words and concepts in the English language.  It's important to hold it in your heart.  It can change and save lives.  Sometimes it burns brightly but sometimes it only seems to flicker inside of us.  Faith can come and go, it seems sort of fleeting.

Do you ever wrestle with your faith?  Does it sort of come and go or is it always strong with you?  What do you do to strengthen your faith?  Blog it here.

My faith remains strong.....now that I'm older.
When I was younger, yes I wrestled with my faith, but through this journey of life, I have found FAITH is all I need. God showed me through his word that he would always be there for me, I am his child and he loves me, along with all that is here on earth.
With faith in God, mountains can be moved, and love really does conquer all.
Faith is really all I have to count on, and again I believe God has a plan for us all.
Heavy topic......

I can't say that I have ever had to wrestle with "faith" because my faith is faith in myself and the strength I possess that lets me deal with anything life tosses my way. I am an optomistic analytical realist.

Sometimes I become preoccupied with problems when I should be looking for opportunities. For me, to say that a situation is impossible demonstrates a lack of Faith on my behalf. And because things don't always work out the way they should or I would like, in all honesty at times, I do find myself struggling from time to time. I also look at this way, if we always knew why we were suffering, our Faith would have no room to grow. Because of everything my family and several of my friends have been through, I never underestimate how vulnerable we are during times of suffering and pain. I believe we must hold on to our Faith even if there is no relief. And in doing so I have learned that "Faith is a gift that grows as we use it." If I find myself getting that "poor me attitude" or perhaps my faith is not as strong as I'd like it to be, I pick up the Bible and re-read one of my favorite Books and that is Job. There is a large lesson in humility that really reminds me to renew my Faith and stay humble.

I'm going to make a big assumption here. When most people talk about struggling with their faith they're really wondering why they continue to sin even after they're saved. Well. even the Apostle Paul struggled with that. It's in Romans 7:15-25. "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."

All Christians struggle with their faith from time to time because we are still living in this sinful flesh and our old sinful nature acts like a king who wants his throne back. How you deal with it is the real key. Whenever you stumble, confess it, ask for f

forgiveness, and then ask God to help you to not stumble again. No Christian will be perfected until they are in glory. In the meantime we all struggle with our old nature.
