Today Christians celebrates the sacrifices of Jesus for the good of everyone else and his triumphant victory over death and evil.  What would Jesus say today if he came to the United States?  Would he be pleased with us or would he find us to be less spiritual?  Blog it here.

I don't know what Jesus would say. But there are others that have already made their mind up. In the book of Revelations is a brief conversation between God and the Archangel Michael. As best I recall it goes something like this : "Lord deliver them unto me, so that I may punish them for their sin and wickedness." There are others than just God and Satan watching over us.

Kieth,
Yet another good subject.
I think Jesus would say "America has turned her back on the one who gave her all the BLESSINGS she's known down through the years, and once again I have shown her MERCY."

Will we EVER learn how NOT to let UNGODLY people make all our BAD choices for us.

He wouldn't be able to say anything! He'd be crying at what we've done to ourselves and the World our Heavenly Father created! Of course, as a believer, I know that when Jesus does return, it will be in a blaze of GLORY, and he won't be crying!

I think Jesus said, "Give unto Ceasar, what is Ceasar?" A lot of people seem to think that America is the Christian Nation but that is not what we are. We are a country where we are free to express our religion in any way we like. We are free to be Christians, Hindu's, Jews, Muslims and any other faith that we choose to believe in. To me that is something Jesus would respect, the right to make a choice.

As for people making our bad choices for us? We are all given choices and it is our right and obligation to make them right. You are only responsible for yourself, those who act outside the tenets of god will be held accountable themselves.

Jesus was never one to dwell on sorrow either, his message was one that was uplifting and introspective. He wanted us to search inside ourselves and find the answers that we were seeking.

Today is no different than it was during the time of Jesus in many respects. We all know right from wrong and in that regard Jesus would not hold a nation responsible but rather the individual for his own actions.

John 6:47 "Verily, Verily, I say unto you, who so ever believes in me shall not perish but have everlasting life." Amen to that.

Stop blaming a nation for the rights and wrong of the people. We are all responsible for ourselves and our own actions. We vote those into office that make the decisions both democratic and republican that our unchristian, but it doesn't matter because god never told us to vote and god never asked us to create a nation for him. Seriously, if he truly wanted a nation for himself there would be one.

He would say, "Man, verily I need a shower! I smell like I just rose from the grave!"

Oh hominous dominous, we are so evil, lord, and boo hoo hoo.....

Would he be able to run for the presidency without someone trying to destroy his character or find unfavorable/unpopular things in his past?

I have come not to teach but to awaken. Understand therefore that I lay down no precepts.

Throughout eternity I have laid down principles and precepts, but mankind has ignored them. Man's inability to live God's words makes the Avatar's teaching a mockery. Instead of practicing the compassion He taught, man has waged crusades in His name. Instead of living the humility, purity and truth of His words, man has given way to hatred, greed and violence.

Because man has been deaf to the principles and precepts laid down by God in the past, in this present Avataric Form I observe Silence. You have asked for and been given enough words -- it is now time to live them. To get nearer and nearer to God you have to get further and further away from “I”, “my”, “me” and “mine”. You have not to renounce anything but your own self. It is as simple as that, though found to be almost impossible. It is possible for you to renounce your limited self by my Grace. I have come to release that Grace.

I repeat, I lay down no precepts. When I release the tide of Truth which I have come to give, men's daily lives will be the living precept. The words I have not spoken will come to life in them.

I veil myself from man by his own curtain of ignorance, and manifest my Glory to a few. My present Avataric Form is the last Incarnation of this cycle of time, hence my Manifestation will be the greatest. When I break my Silence, the impact of my Love will be universal and all life in creation will know, feel and receive of it. It will help every individual to break himself free from his own bondage

bondage in his own way. I am the Divine Beloved who loves you more than you can ever love yourself. The breaking of my Silence will help you to help yourself in knowing your real Self.

All this world confusion and chaos was inevitable and no one is to blame. What had to happen has happened; and what has to happen will happen. There was and is no way out except through my coming in your midst. I had to come, and I have come. I am the Ancient One.

I'm pretty sure it would go something like that...^ -^
