Or should I say NO WNBA on Fox.
What was up with that?!?!
All season long I thought I must just have been missing the WNBA scores being related in the NewsCasts. Then, last night, after I watched Game 5 of the WNBA Finals on ESPN - I watched to see it be reported on the evening news.
It wasn't.
Why has this area of major league sports been ignored? It's been so nice to see the high school football teams get some attention and I love the half hour on Fridays (though - what about the other hs sports??). But - if major sports like the WNBA are ignored, it makes me distrustful of the sports news and I will have to get that on another channel. I'd much rather be able to follow ALL of my sports teams on Fox.
(BTW - if anyone was wondering - The Phoenix Mercury upset the defending champion Detroit Shock in Detroit 108 - 92 for their first WNBA Finals title in franchise history and the first team to win it on the road. I would have thought that was newsworthy.)

I'm originally from near Boston and now live in Central Florida. I love animals and country music (especially Jim Van Fleet and the Reign! lol). I like sports, especially basketball (Go Celtics!!). I like to dive, fish, shoot, horseback riding - 'outdoorsey' stuff. I'm also a bit of a 'science geek'. I'm not sure how often I'll blog - but it's fun getting to know the Fox Team and others who watch.
