I was disappointed that she didn't call GlobullWorming a bunch of bunk, I hate the carbon cap crap, she kept blaming Wall St for the Economic Mess and that really really really is not the whole truth,nothing but the truth..her and McCain need to call these fools out. But I realize they weren't worried about the content of her debate they were more concerned about her presence and delivery.

You also must consider that McCain had the opertunity to disqualify the moderator, but felt comfortable enough to turn gov. Palin loose anyway. In the event you are unaware, the moderator is in the process of writing a book on the Obama's. Not that she would be biased or favor one side over the other or nothing, right?
Palin was awsome. I have more confidence in her serving now than ever even though I never doubted her as McCains first choice.

It is true that we are experiencing climate change. It is true that coast lines will change. It is true that the very polarity of the earth may totally reverse. These things are all true and have all happened over and over again over the existance of the planet. It is not true that they are happening more rapidly or wildly than any other time in the history of the planet. It is not true that we can somehow put a stop to them. It is true that we should research them and understand what is likely to come and to prepare for it and adapt. Not throw up radical man made "chemical", biological "solutions that are extremely expensive and highly likely to really screw up nature.

The consortium of "scientists" who met and made the "proclamation" and expected all the world. At least the uneducated world, to swallow were not mostly geologists, they were not mostly climatologists, they were not mostly meteorologists. They were politically motivated people with some random science backgrounds "one was a gynecologist" specifically brought together by politically motivated people. Check into Gores "science" education. (It is virtually non existant, yet he proclaims to have invented the internet and now he is the expert on the very planet and all its intricate workings with regard to climate). Talk about delusions of adequacy.

Ok then you may ask. If true why? Why would all these "noble" people get together and work tirelessly on this "noble project to save the world".

The answer is the same as it is for every

intelligence. Why?? Why?? How do you make a buck doing this?

To establish a "Bank" that they will profit from which will settle "carbon credits". How will this work. Say a factory wants to ramp up production and pollute a little or a lot more than they can under current regulations. Say Gore wants to fly around the world in his private jet a little more and not feel guilty about the amount of pollution he is dumping on you. Those folks want to spend money to "buy" carbon credits. Then there is the owner of several acres of virgin forest they arent cutting down and developing. They are good citicens with excess "carbon credits" because their land is pure and they don't pollute. So they can sell their credits to Gore so he can pollute more and have the "carbon neutral footprint" he is so proud of. Sounds good so far? The new "Bank" for a "small fee" - yeah right when was a bank fee ever small? Will police these transactions and be the clearing house. The forest guy goes to the bank, he deposits his credits and gets cash(minus a small fee) the polluter - Gore goes to the bank and buys credits pays for them (plus a small fee for clearing) and happily goes on to pollute to his hearts content with no guilt. Imagine the infrastructure you will now have in place - administration building popping up all over to manage this new "very important task" never mind that all this new infrastructure has environmental costs, not to mention all the new regs and red tape (probably have to cut down a whole forest to keep up with the paperwork - hey but thats ok just bu

If you dont believe me look at the Hillary "managed care scheme" Where is the cash? Doctors have the cash. What is trendy? What is the public concern? Health care too expensive. Answer establish a "Bank" HMO, managed care. Did your healthcare costs go down? No they went up. Did your care improve? No it went down cause Docs arent making any money under the burden of red tape and regs. You are lucky now if you see them for 5 min. Docs get out of the business cause its not worth it.

I think all politicion play with the truth, are to politically correct and do whats good for their careers and not for the American people. Sort of like being in an exclusive country club, doing anything or saying anything to keep their memebership.

I must admit that there was little that Palin said that was surprising. In fact, she said most of the same things over, and over, and........well you get the idea.

BTW, did you notice that Palin is so determined to carry on the traditions of Bush that she purposely mispronounces the word "nuclear" just like GW does? I'm not sure, but I suspect that Rexsmom and DaytonaFrank do as well.

Governor Palin pronounced nuclear in a way he did not agree with.

His "superior" mind cannot conceive of the fact that many Americans mispronounce that word. He doesn't seem to realize that words are pronounced differently depending on what part of the country you are in.
He doesn't seem to realize that no matter how you pronounce "nuclear" the listener will know what you mean.

But no. Palin mispronounced it in his eyes, therefore that makes her ineligible to be vice president! What an idiot!
