Politics WINS..America loses...

One of the things that struck ME about this convention was ALL these BIG names coming out ALL WEEK LONG denying that there was EVER any kind of a serious Rift among the Democrats,,

THEN we’re supposed to BELIEVE that Saint Hillary was the SOLE engineer of the "healing" of that rift that DIDN’T exist with her Unparralled Graciousness and Unprecedented Statesmanlike call for a "Nomination by Acclamation"..

And NOW,, we’re supposed to believe that the WHOLE Democrat party,, which was NEVER devided in the first place,, is somehow unified as NEVER before??

Happy days are HERE again!!!!!

At the SAME time,, we are LED to believe that the Messiah Obama,, the ONE and ONLY,, made some kind of Magnanimous gesture by calling for the Restoration of the Fla. and Mich. delegate Votes…

So tell me people,,WHERE is the risk in DOING this when a DEAL had ALREADY been made between Obama and Hillary to have this "Vote of Acclamation"??

Tell me Florida Democrats,,YOU voted for Hillary..

WHO did your Florida Delelgates vote for last night??

We are ALL left with a sense of an intense struggle and a Heroic Effort  to overcome a rift that DIDN’T exist according to the the events that transpired last night..

YOU Democrats have WON!!

YOU are VICTORIOUS!!

And you are SO Satisfied and Gratified in your victory..

OHH,, HOW we Americans LOVE a "Triumph over  Insurmountable Odds" Story..

We'll wipe away the tears and congratulate ourselves over our Great American Spirit..We'll tell ourselves that,, in America,, and ONLY in America,, ANYTHING can be accomplished as LONG as you JUST don't give up..

And Yet,,  the ONE that YOU voted for didn’t even get ONE VOTE last night... NOT ONE!!!

YOU are FOOLED into believing that YOU won something EVEN though you were,,  in FACT,, SIMPLY taken OUT of the Game..

IT WAS ALL SO PLANNED……..ALL so Choreographed..

 

THIS convention,,and the ONE coming UP,, are BOTH a FARCE..It NO longer matters what the American People want or EVEN what they call for..It DOSEN'T even matter  what WE VOTE for anymore..

Is it ANY wonder that the Voter Turnout was so LOW during this most recent of elections..On top of ALL of the election controversies we NOW KNOW as PLAIN as day that EVEN when there’s NO indication of "Voter Fraud" our votes STILL don’t count..

We NO longer have a say so in the vetting or nomination process..THEY tell US who’s going to run and their ONLY job is to convince US that THEIR choice is what WE wanted ALL along..

I KNEW,, and said so MANY times over the past 4 years,, that when an UNKNOWN State Senator from Illlinois was introduced at the LAST Democrat Convention,, and EVERYBODY wondered WHO he was,, that Obama was going to be the NEXT Democrat Nominee for President..

OVER and ABOVE the FACT that WE were TOLD time and time again that it was OWED to Hillary..That HER  nomination was going to be a SURE THING..

We’ve ALL seen the questions on these sites and elsewhere,, Hell,, SOME of us have even ASKED them..

HOW is it that our Nominees end up being,, a NOBODY coming from NOWHERE managing to wrest the nomination from as POWERFUL a PARTY Figure as is Hillary on the ONE side,, and on the other,, HOW is it that the OTHER guy,, if ANYTHING ,, comes from being "OUT of the Race" at ONE point BECAUSE he IS known ALL TOO WELL by EVERYBODY and ONE who SINGLE handedly spurred on the Republican Revolution that PUT the Democrats IN control..

How is it that ALMOST overnight THESE are OUR ONLY choices??

There can BE only ONE answer..They are not OUR Choices at ALL..They are EACH and in EACH case,,

THE Parties’s choices…….

Considering that I started this path in life as a young lad who lost a testicle in a knife fight with my mother and it's gone DOWNHILL from there,,I'm doing just FINE.. Thanks.LMAO...

in 40 years i havent voted rep but this year you bet i amguess im all healedi like the gov of alaska shes the only one running that has run a goverment an shes dome wounderful and an nra member guess she has her guns and bible

I understand what you're trying to say here Cy..That the Executive Branch is NOT elected by the People but by the Electoral College and to SOME extent that is true..

HOWEVER..The candidates that are to be CONSIDERED and VOTED on are PROFESSED to be NOMINATED by the vote of the People..But as we SEE here in THIS election,, even THAT is NOT always the case NOR is THAT in ANY way unconstitutional..

The recent Supreme Court held that the Constitution does NOT effect the way that nominees are chosen and that the bannimg of Florida’s and Michigan’s Delegate Votes were NOT Unconstitutional..They held that if the Memberships of the parties in question didn’t like the way the nominees were chosen,, THEY had the CHOICE of switching to other Parties..THIS however does NOT negate the NEED to pass Muster with the People..
IF a Party cannot satisfy the will of it’s OWN Membership then it’s NOT likely that the candidate will gain the necessary votes in ANY state to bound the College votes TO him/Her..

AND,,the Electorsal College is BOUND by the Majority Votes of their respective States so the people were NEVER intended to be Completely EXCLUDED in the Process..

MY post was intended to point out a DECEPTION on the part of the Parties,, NOT an Illegality..

Well said. Most people don't understand that there is only one party controlling this country. They use 2 names and present candidates under each to make the gullible sheople think they are making a choice based on the false conclusion that there is a difference between them.

The party is in partnership with the media who tells the sheople who to vote for and the sheople dutifully comply, those who don't are actively silenced by the party execs.

If I had a choice of systems, the garbage collector would earn the same amount as the doctor. The ditch digger would earn as much as a ball player, and the president would earn as much as an actor. Every (able) person would be trained for a job based on their abilities and their desires. Everyone would be raised from childhood to care about others, and to hold every other person in equally high regard, not based on their capabilities or their job, but based on their humanity, and all would receive the same pay. Everyone's job would be to do their best and live up to their potential for the betterment of the whole, and in return, no one would be penalized for lack of ability, handicaps, or age. Everyone would share equally in prosperity... Well, it's a nice dream. :)

Oooo... don't think that's it. Russians don't seem all that happy, and I'm pretty sure they are not treated equally. Do their lowest paid workers have the same type housing as their president? Don't think so. I think everyone should do their best, and everyone should have everything equally.

Why should a ditch digger work long hard hours everyday and make minimum wage (or close), while a person working in an air conditioned office with a nice comfy chair earns ten times as much? Is the ditch diggers work any less necessary to society, OR is it that the upper class feel a need to have more (no matter how much that is) just so they can elevate themselves over others? Why is this accepted as our status quo? Is it "right"?

Just an example: If having only one bathroom for yourself would mean that another person with no bathroom could have one, would it really be such a bad thing to give one up?
I don't think I'd mind, since I can only sit my behind on one throne at a time anyway. :)

WHAT motivates ANYONE under those conditions WHICH BTW,,are IMPOSSIBLE in the First Place but JUST as an Academic exercise,, WHO makes the rules and WHO enforces them and WHY would they??

Motivation would need to be nurtured (taught from birth) to do the right thing. Society could enforce the rules (accept the role of our brothers' keepers).
What is wrong with all hard working people sharing and having as much as others?
