Is anyone else out there disgusted by the amount of money the candidates are raising? When there are homeless, hungry people in our country, it makes me sick to think of the millions that are given to these people. If I had money, I certainly wouldn't give it for that purpose!! There are children right here in our own communities that are going to bed hungry every night!! I wish to God that I could do something to help, I don't know where to begin. My family is lucky to make ends meet every month, at least my children eat three meals every day. It saddens me that many of our seniors have to choose whether they eat this month or buy the prescriptions that they need to keep them alive. I'm not a senior, but have had to make that choice myself. My husband and I both have diabetes and the amount of money we spend at the pharmacy every month is astronomical. I believe that we should live what the Bible says, take care of the widows and the children. This country doesn't do that. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I think it was $41 million that Obama raised in July, that's incredible, it would only take $100,000 to pay off every debt I owe and I would be debt free and able to help others like I want to do. I wonder how much good the richest of the richest in this country do with their money? Is there anyone out there who agrees with me?
Hi to all my fellow bloggers. I'm a mom who schools her two daughters at home and has generally worked part-time through the years to help make ends meet, but had to leave my job last December for health reasons. I'm wondering if anyone reading this works from home and could give me some pointers on how to get started with something. I refuse to file for disability, I'm only 40 years old. I'd appreciate any feedback I can get on this topic.
