OK, you DOPE's that are running around blaming Bush for the FNMA/FHLMC debacles...

You need to look to where the blame squarely falls - upon your boys and girls in the democrat party.

Would any of you DOPEs you care to comment on Clinton crony Jamie Gorelick (or is it "Lick Gore"?) and her $26 million bonus from FNMA?

How about the FACT that the Bush administration sounded the alarm on FNMA back in 2003 but they were summarily shot down by none other than Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) on the premise that further regulation would impinge upon the ability of said agency to provide loans for the less-fortunate.

WHY are Republicans not DEMANDING an investigation?

Sooner or later, democrats are going to be branded for what they really are: a bunch of scheming, conniving crooks - exactly what some (i.e., YD) accuse the Bush administration of being. I truly believe that the majority of Americans are intelligent enough to see through the democrats' shenanigans. Many of us do and we need to keep educating the uneducated. For some amongst us (and we know who THEY are), there is no hope.

I hope McCain jumps on this hotbed of vile corruption. Look who is at the helm in the Obama campaign....Raines, no less, and James Johnson was on the VP search team for Obama...
McCain has to get down and get dirty with the REAL truth. It is time for him to take up the sabre and finally cut the head off of the snake that keeps desperately spewing the venom of lies.

DOPE's? That's my tag line! Get your own fella!
On second thought, you have official license to use it.*lmao*

Let's see how many of the lefty gang here that's pulling on the other end of the rope, want to come out muscle your logic. When your argument is planted in the truth like this one is, all of them combined can't pull it over!

Funny, all the "Liberals" that I've seen here all agree that both sides of the aisle are corrupt and that Congress has no spine.

It's the 'other side' that cannot admit their side is as corrupt as the other.

I wonder why that is?

Pointing fingers does no good as both "sides" have excuses and denials handy. Until folks learn to compromise and work together we're all in the toilet. Looks like another depression is on it's way.

If you can't blame Clinton, blame a Clinton associate.

You're too funny Freak. Good try, but a lame attempt nonetheless.

The deregulation actually began in Congress in 1999...who was in charge of Congress then??????????

Your boy, Dumbo the Dithering Dunce, is at the helm and drove this ship upon the rocks.

End of story.

Community Reinvestment Act (Clinton)
Redline Districts (Community Organizing by Community Activist ...........coercion to make bad loans to people who couldn't afford them...

It gets votes and BTW Bush was not in office when this ACT came rolling out.
Look at the lists of all the Democrat Candidates who got campaign donations from FMae/FMac.
These hands were in the cookie jar way before 1999. Too bad 5 years ago we didn't put Raines behind bars...but his buds on Cap. HIll would have none of that.

The Dems hands were all in the pockets of FanMae and FredMac..if anything, Bush reached across the aisle and let them have their way and called the dogs off after all he didn't need the hassle of the the Black Caucuses. Everyone of these people need to be marched off to jail, LIke Enron, they need to be indicted and heads should roll.
No, the Dems were too busy all these years blaming Bush to be in bed with Oil Companies and god forbid Cheney and Haliburton. Has Haliburton caused you to lose your home or any of your investments in your retirement funds?

and that is the truth at the end of the story!

Hey Dog...I'm not blaming a Clinton associate (neither HE, nor she, is running).

I AM blaming an OSAMA associate, however.

Thanks for the license on the "DOPE", 'stangg.

I am your normal, middle-class, "working Joe". But I am also a capitalist and believe that nothing good comes from socialistic entitlement programs. I believe in hunting down and killing terrorists like the little rats that they are (except that that statement is denigrating to rats). I grew up in a very conservative household and was fortunate enough to have had a conservative American Government teacher (a retired US Army colonel) who helped to show me the "right" way. Are there things that I would like to change? Absolutely. But NOT the kind of "change" being espoused by Hillarock Obaminton. I have lived in Florida for forty of my forty-eight years. I've been a big Pink Floyd fan since my teen years hence the moniker, FloydFreak. My friends call me Freak, Floyd, and FF. The libs call me a neocon. I wear that badge proudly. Please note that I enjoy engaging in spirited discussion - even with those with whom I disagree. There are a number of individuals on these boards whom I respect even if I DO think that they're out of touch with reality. Please note also that I do not tolerate personal attacks on my character. If you think that I'm full of BLEEP, you have the right to say so. But drag my character into the gutter and expect retaliation in kind with FloydFreak's own brand of sarcasm. Keep it civil and we'll get along fine. To those of you that see good in America and want the OPPORTUNITY for prosperity for all - and do not just seek to soak it to "the rich", I say God bless you. And God bless America!
